I think its about time to disect our next rule that seems to have been taken advantage of or over looked: Be Civil.

Civil: Sufficiently observing or befitting accepted social usages; not rude.

We all know what rude is, right?

Rude: discourteous or impolite, especially in a deliberate way, rough in manners or behavior; unmannerly; uncouth

When the rule states that you must be civil, what it implies is that you treat everyone with respect. This is a very simple concept that we all had grasped before we hit school but have somehow forgotten while in the chatroom.

The term "Be Civil", means that you should be nice. You may not like someone, but you should be nice to them. Grit your teeth and bear it, so to speak. Things that go under "Be Civil" include: No name calling, No threats, No sexual insults, No grabbing titties, No Cunt-Faced-Whore calling, No sticking-your-dick-in-that comments. This post is the last time we should ever see these things. If you can't say it to your grandmother, or if you can't say it in your work place, don't think you can come into this room and say it here.

This type of talk has gotten way out of hand and is one of the reasons why people have started fighting. Though these comments may be "fun" to you, they make someone else feel uncomfortable. Some people lash out when they feel uncomfortable, and then we have an issue. So lets avoid that. Clean your mouth up because it will no longer be tolerated or overlooked.

In light of re-visitting the Be Civil rule, I am going to remind everyone that even though this has gotten by in the past couple weeks, there WILL be kicks and temp bans for those who refuse to follow this rule. Wanna call someone a "Whiney Little Bitch"? Put it in your Dear Diary. Say it in the room? You're gonna get kicked.

In attempt to clean the room up, there will no longer be a 3 warning=kick. If you cuss, call names, threaten or make rude sexual comments, you will just get kicked for each offense until the room's mouth looks better. After people have learned to put a filter between their minds and their fingers, we will re-establish the 3 warnings=kick protocol. Consider this is your warning.

Three kicks is a ban.

HAMMERS:
Those who feel they can not kick when they see an insult or a derogatory sexual term need to pass their hammers over to those who can. Holding a hammer comes with responsibility and sometimes stressful judgement calls need to be made. If you hold a hammer odds are, someone in the room will not like you. If you hold a hammer odds are, you will have to use it eventually. If you hold a hammer odds are, someone will come at you in whisper for something they don't like. If you can't handle this, pass the hammer on and continue with your roleplay uninterrupted. Let someone else handle it. If you hold a hammer, you are expected to make judgement calls. Please know, accept and act on this.

Thank you,
Management
