Hey gang, YVFF asked Your Vegas a few questions and got an anonymous response. Can you guess who answered them? My guess is Coyle! Especially considering the response to the "starstruck" question.

Thank you, Your Vegas! Fun stuff! :yahoo:

here it is, enjoy!

As Your Vegas gains more attention, air play and success each day, what is currently the most enjoyable part of this journey? What is most frustrating?

The most enjoyable part for me is seeing our fanbase grow. It's a great feeling to watch the YV word spreading and it means a lot to us when fans take the time to message us and tell us they thought we were great live or they just got the album and they love it.

I guess the most frustrating part is out of the way now and that was actually getting a record deal and being able to record our first album. It was frustrating because for a while we felt we had a great collection of songs and knew that we were capable of creating a special debut album, which I feel we have done in A Town And Two Cities.

You are loved by your fans not only for your music, but also for your friendliness and sincerity toward listeners. Does Your Vegas have a role model in the music industry regarding how you deal with fans? (The YVFF thinks you are THE role model for all other bands to look up to, btw.)

I don't think we have a role model band in this respect. We love meeting fans and hanging out after the shows as that's just the kind of guys we are. We'll have a beer with anyone! I also think it's a matter of common decency and courtesy. Fans are the people who make any band what they are, without them they're nothing and I think it's only right that bands take the time to say hi and chat with the people who bought their album and payed to watch them perform.

Sometimes you make us starstruck and tongue twisted. What musical act currently gets you starstruck and tongue twisted?

Musical acts have never really starstruck me. I get more starsruck by people who do things that i could never do. For example, when we performed on the Carson Daly show Bear Grylls from Man vs. Wild was there as he was on the next nights show and I was starstruck by him just because I admire what he does so much. I mean i could never hike my way through a swamp then catch, kill and eat a lizard. Professional footballers (soccer players) starstrike me too as I wish I could do what they can with a football.

If you just couldn't play music anymore and were forced to do something else, what would you do? Besides be very very sad.

I'd be a full time dreamer.

Many artists don't listen to their own music because it's too difficult. Do you rock out to A Town and Two Cities?

I listen to it from time to time. I feel very proud of it.

Who's the loudest snorer in Your Vegas?

Easily Mark. When we used to all be in the same hotel room I would throw anything at him that was close by to shut him up. This includes sneakers, pillows, magazines, my phone and muscle milk cartons.

:lmao: Funny sight to picture. LOL I figured the answer to the last one would be Mark! He's got that rough snarly quality to his voice.

Thank you Your Vegas!

:swoon: We'll have a beer with you anytime! :drinks:

edit: I know now who responded to the interview but I'll tell ya soon. Let's hear your guesses first!

   Like I said in the question, Your Vegas sets the bar. Don't they???   Love this response, we know they feel this way but it is so refreshing to hear again. A lot of bands, especially those who are assholes to their fans, need to take some serious serious notes on Your Vegas.

Much Your Vegas love. :notworthy: Never change, boys, we know you won't.

I definitely think it's Coyle b/c of that starstruck answer. When he found out I was an ICU nurse, he started telling me how amzing he thought that was. Then he sent me an email asking about my day at the hospital...blah blah...what my day must be like. Then in NYC he wanted to know all the gorey details about this patient I had who needed a heart transplant. It was quite funny. But he just kept on saying how much he admired what I did. :cloud9:

Their fan base will certainly continue to grow. My thoughts are that Coyle is the one that responded. I say that because of the response about being starstruck by professional footballers, however that may also indicate Jon. Who knows... at any rate, love these guys for being down to earth and friendly. ;)

I loved this Julie. Its really quite nice to know that they do love their fans as much as we love them. :airkiss:

This interview just reiterates the opinion I formed of them from the very onset. They rock , they are sweet and so down to earth and very very amazing people.
I am so glad I am a fan of one of the greatest bands around :yahoo: :yahoo:

Just my guess. It would be Coyle !

Well it's not Mark lol.

I thought Mat for a moment but I'm probably wrong!

Whoever it was, it was an enjoyable read and I'm so feeling the Your Vegas love more than ever

 The guessing game was quite unintentional but now it's pretty darn fun, I think we'll do this again with the next round of questions! :yahoo:

I will give it a bit more time for guesses then tell you the answer! :giggle:

I have a secret. :blush2:

Don't ya love reading anything from them? Like Robin said, Coyle could sing the alphabet song, right? :D

Yeah the starstruck answer definitely made me think Coyle, though I knew Jon liked football too as does Mark but of course it couldn't be Mark. ;)

I get the whole starstruck answer, I'm blown away by rockers 'cause they do something I wish I could. I think performing like that and making amazing music has to be one of the most exhilarating experiences on the planet! Ya know?

:notworthy: Amen. This means so much to us fans.

Nothing like meeting a band that you've adored forever and then being snubbed by them :annoyed: . And I have witnessed this first hand! It's so sad. Earth shattering, actually :upset: .

Ummm. My guess is Coyle wrote the answers  . Can't be poor Mark :giggle: !

No one from a band has ever been an asshole to me and I've met quite a few. Jamie Cook came close, but everyone says he is just shy, so I'm not sure.
But then again, I don't meet huge bands. Most of the bands I meet are small indie bands that are lucky if they can sell out a thousand person venue.
Your Vegas is one of the nicest bands I have ever met though.

ding ding ding! we have one and a half guesses right. Well done! This one was tricky! But the lovely Your Vegas member who responded to these questions is:

:mal2:

the sweet and funky, ever-stylin'
Jonny Langford

Thank you Jon! :airkiss:

I had thought Jon would respond since he had been writing lately, but then the answers seemed awfully Coyley. When Jon said it was him, the last sentence of his response then seemed very Jon.

this was fun, can't wait for another round :blush2:
