I thought this wold be a fun place to review and recommend books to other YV fans....since after seeing the Photobucket surveys it seems like many of us are avid readers.

Currently I am reading New Moon in the Twilight Series. I was told about these books by some younger cousins at my family reunion a few weeks ago and wanted to see what the big deal was about. I must say I am actually enjoying getting into another series again since Harry Potter is over. I have read all of those books at least 3 times and figured it was time to give something else a shot.

What are you currently reading??

Just finished "Breaking Dawn"...the fourth installment of the "Twilight" series.....LOVE THOSE BOOKS.....I don't give a flying flip if I am in my 30's and those are considered "young adult" books.......I love Stephanie Meyers little twists! And before that I just read Stephanie Meyers first "adult" book ..."The Host".......very interesting .... she is a fabulous storyteller!!!

When You are Engulfed in Flames by David Sedaris

He is absolutely hysterical -- his satire on his life, upbringing and life observations are great....I have never read anything by him that didn't make me chuckle out loud.

Very cool Coco-- I just finished that book as well! I really liked how they worked the ending in the book! Everyone in my office is all over the Twilight books.

Yeah, I have a feeling that is going to be one very popular movie! Our office is fairly split between Edward and Jacob.

World War Z: An Oral History Of the Zombie War by Max Brooks. It's basically a fictitious compilation of interviews with various people around the world - civilians, military personal, professors, etc. - about a zombie epidemic/war.

Yeah, I'm completely obsessed with zombies! I've read his other book, the Zombie Survival Guide, a million times, so in the event of a plague of the living dead I'm totally prepared and you can all take shelter at my fortress in the mountains.

I used to only read scary books at one time. I've read countless Stephen King, James Herbert and Dean Koonz books.

I seem to have moved onto chick lit! I love Sophie Kinsella and Adele Parks.

I also like autobiographies. Sharon Osbourne's was a very interesting read.

I'm currently reading inconceivable by Ben Elton. I'd be really interested to see the movie version 'Maybe baby' afterwards.

Um...does the new issue of Seventeen and Glamour count? lol

I haven't had time to read anything for pleasure...and with college coming up again, I'll be absorbed by textbooks. But I'm taking classes I"m really looking forward to, including HISTORY OF ROCK MUSIC, so I should have fun reading for that class!

KristenElizabeth, I took that class at Ohio University when I was in undergrad there. Our text book was Rolling Stone's History of Rock and Roll.

It was a very cool class. I loved it! I need to look at the university that I work at to see if they offer it here. I'd love to audit it sometime for a refresher.

Currently reading Chances by Jackie Collins. Just started it actually. Its OK, but there is like a ridiculous amount of sex in it. Generally I don't care about sex scenes, but it's a little excessive in this book LOL! It sort of takes away from the plot, which is actually pretty decent.
