Roleplay rules and requirements ルールと要件

Greater recognition will be given to those who roleplay in the character manner, those who don't or find it difficult will be picked up by admins or mods, or by other high standing members in the community. Following these Rules and Guidelines, will help employ a greater understanding and balance to the way in which everyone roleplays. We promote a descriptive style of roleplay with as singular character, and openly allow emotive if both party's accept the conditions set by the emotive scene. For an Emotive encounter to occur permission by all the people fighting/contributing within the scene must grant this to happen. For me to elaborate on what "Desc RP" means, simply think of is a descriptive style which allows for greater immersion as well as a much more balanced roleplay experience.

Example one

Example two

Explanation: Noting the way in which you move when you dodge, remove the weapon or avoid the target, it should be noted that this information is neccesary as counter-attack chances seem more possible for both the target and yourself. For instance if you were to grab the weapon, the target could state to overpower you. If you were to move, the target could re-focus his attack or ninjutsu towards where you are now.To a degree, although a complete emotive environment is not compulsory, collectively as a community we would like to see some emotive environments, whether it be fatigue or to be factoring in the fact your target is in fact stronger.

Example three

Explanation: For those who do not know, The eight gates is an elite Taijutsu (hand to hand combat), which strengthens the body's muscles and makes them faster and incredibly stronger. People within the eight gates show lightning speed depending on which gate they unlock, simply blocking someone who has unlocked anything above the Second gate is close to impossible without some form of injury, this is not to discount the use of a replacement as a feasible way to avoid or diminish the effects of an attack. By emotively accepting some damage, however minor, as a result of blocking such an attack you exemplify the chasm that exists between an elite taijutsu master, and someone who might excel in genjutsu alone.

Chasms in rank should be taken into account, not to say the Hokage or Jounin are godly superiors who cannot be harmed. Logically however, a Jounin will display a higher chakra pool, greater ninjutsu potency, greater taijutsu etc. This is not to exclude the fact you can catch them off guard, such as playing a simple prank onto them if they were your jounin leader. We wish for you to act in a manner which is going to exemplify the nature of your rank, or the path you which to take. A Genin, no matter how talented is but a rookie of the shinobi world when compared with a Jounin or Hokage.
Example four

Example of a Removable

Example of a break

Both of these are valid means of breaking or removing a limb, and are perfectly valid ways to inflict damage upon someone. Damage such as this lasts for a total of twelve hours, at the end of which the wound/limb is either replaced or mended.

To Knock out a target, a total number of five lines + initial is required to be performed.
Example of Knockout

Being Knocked out lasts for a total of ten minutes however can be less if those scening leave the area, or in fact tell you otherwise such as stating oocily "You can wake up now if you want []." However being knocked out can last no more then ten minutes and the victim is more than welcomed to wake up from their Knocked out state.

Death due to it's nature in this Roleplay, requires the same number of lines as a paralysis, which is 6 lines + initial. Please read the death set of rules before commenting on the nature of this decision if you have not done so before.

Example of Paralysis via weapon

Paralysis via poison

Both of these are reasonable means of PARALYSING someone, although proficiency in poisons is required for the latter.

Example of death via weapon

Example of death via ninjutsu

Keep in mind these are examples, and not the BE ALL END ALL way of killing people. Creativity is bliss, and is promoted in this community. Killing/injuring in new means is much greater then actually seeing the same -kunai to head- we see from those who spend a larger amount of time in Star Wars Roleplay©

Although these rules are in place, each action requires some degree of reasoning supporting the action performed. An accident in training is more than likely to produce a broken bone, or to knock someone out based on an accidental IC basis. Re-occurent "ACCIDENTS" will result in ooc discussion, however in most cases severity such as breaks and knockouts should be avoided where possibly unless placed in an actual fight.

We hope these rules produce some sense of clairty, and provide well enough tips to those foreign to the AuNRP Nature, Thank you for taking the time to read this Ruleset, we look forward to see the Implication of these rules.
