New York City's best restaurant of 2011 fails miserably at cleanliness.
In 2011, The New York Times declared Per Se, celebrity chef Thomas Keller’s Michelin-starred eatery, the best restaurant in New York City. Well, last month, The New York Health Department declared that Per Se is one of the dirtiest restaurants in the city. According to the health department, inspectors found 7 key health violations, including five critical ones, and Per Se racked up a whopping 42 violation points. Meaning the restaurant, famous for its $310 tasting menu, lost its previous A grade and earned a failing C grade. Ouch.

It's a pity Andrew Breitbart died of a cocaine-induced heart attack . . . OK, no, it's not.

But if that ridiculous gasbag had lived, FFC could post a link to an editorial by Breitbart crying about how health inspectors are just a noxious sign of government regulation RUINING free enterprise. :crybaby

I wouldn't pay 310 for tasting, I've always read a lot of bad stuff about so called ritzy eateries. They are just rip offs.
