It is because of the divorce. We take these things very hard and are doing our best to get over it. When we try to focus only on HERE and NOW, stay totally in the present, the pain goes away! In truth, we have had only two marriages in our entire life and this was the second one. It took us years to get over the breakup of our first marriage in 1986. The secret is to never take these things seriously. |

I had a kidney stone back in the mid 80's and the pain at times was excruciating, but it was all in my side. I had no idea what it was at the time. I thought I was pulling a muscle every several months. These flareups went on about twice a year for years until one day I went to the loo at work and as I was peeing I felt a sharp pain (down there) and a foreign body exited and then plenty of blood. I could see the tiny little thing (about the size of a grain of rice but very dark brown and jagged) in the bowl. I figured out what it was and showed it to an associate who had had kidney stone operation years before for confirmation. I had bloody urine for a couple of days until it cleared up and haven't had another one since then. It is staggering how something so tiny could cause that kind of pain. But if one gets lodged in the urinary tract and blocks the duct leading from your kidney it will bring you to your knees. I can only imagine how bad the pain is for someone who has a massive # of stones. I've seen pictures of some as large as golf balls. |

The pain last night as we lay in bed was beyond belief, for hours. We have never experienced anything like this before. We debated getting up and going to the emergency room but the prospect of that was almost worse than the pain. Then finally at 5am we took an ibuprofen and slept for a few hours, when we woke there was no more pain and no pain all day. well, very slight pain in the left side sometimes when we cough. We have been dosing ourself with apple cider vinegar and cold pressed olive oil and also cranberry juice. We hope whatever it was is gone for good! No bloody peepee or anything like that. |

If it's a kidney stone it's not gone. The stone will move from the kidney periodically and block the urinary duct and that's when the excruciating pain begins. It won't subside until the stone either passes on its own or you drink enough fluids to flush it back into the kidney. Trust me, you'll know it when and if it passes on its own. It will be like a piece of barbed wire is passing through your penis. ![]() |

Many say that apple cider vinegar, olive oil, and lots of water will dissolve the stone so it is eliminated. That is what we are trying. |

We are rejoicing that it now appears to be NOT a kidney stone but just the chronic lower back pain we have had for years! |
