We are going to see more and more of these "stories" -- advertising masquerading as reporting. Even magazines are resorting to "sponsored" articles. I understand why they have to do it (magazines are dinosaurs and nobody thinks they should pay for anything on the Internet), but it really sullies the whole idea of journalism -- even further than FoxNews and other outlets for boutique propaganda. As to the subject of this thread, I always take "estimated worth" numbers to be very generous in their estimations. That said, you can make some real money being in successful ads. I have a friend who made six figures from just one ad -- and she didn't say a word. |

I always find these net worth figures suspect. I've seen some of the statistics these sites use and across the board it's nothing more than a silly conglomeration of assumptions by people who know absolutely nothing about the subject's financial dealings. |

Exactly. They don't even seem to take into account the difference between "total monies made" and "total money still in the bank." |

If he's worth 15mill, then that dimwit chick Flo on the never ending stream of insurance ads must be worth twice. I'll believe it when I see a Balance Sheet, preferably with a mustard stain. |

It says he's been in over 300 commercials. If anything, he's underpaid. |
