Weather Channel melting!

Bloomberg reports that The Weather Channel (TWC) is in serious trouble. In 2008, NBC Universal bought the network for $3.5 billion. Today the hope is that the TWC can be sold for the same price.

After seven years of inflation, that is a real loss of value. Ratings have also plummeted nearly 20%, from an average of 264,000 viewers in 2011 to just 214,000 in 2013.

It's no secret that, over the years, 2008 TWC devolved from a handy place to go for a quick update on the local and national weather to a 24/7 anti-science propaganda network devoted to pushing the made-up crisis of Global Warming.

The planet hasn't warmed in 18 years. None of the catastrophes Al Gore and the other leftwing fearmongers predicted have come about. TWC has looked silly and dishonest for years now and completely lost its usefulness.

Even its desktop weather app sucks. I know. I've tried it.

Unlike the glaciers, The Weather Channel really is melting.

I can't imagine spending more than 5 minutes at that channel since a quick smart phone or iPad search would tell you all you'd need to know about the weather. When it was conceived, the internet was not even a thought so maybe it was a good idea 20 years ago.

As to your politics, well, let's just say time will tell. Kisses FFC.

I've quit watching the weather completely because they're rarely accurate regarding storms. I use the NOAA weather radar site and watch the weather come in.

Global Warming is "anti-science"? :rofl

Breitbart's propaganda is double-plus good!

Jesus Christ, I fucking hate ignorant right wing fuckers. They ruin America and make us a laughing stock with their willful, selfish Jesus BS ignorance.

I had never felt the need to visit that Breibart site but since we have a devotee, I decided to read some of their posts.

It is like a right wing vomit fest of Obama/Pelosi hate and mis-information.
