I like it. It looks like a quite cozy retreat up in the Hollywood Hills.

It must be way in the east part of the hills, Los Feliz maybe.

We enjoyed the corn-hole wedding night scene in her movie "BareBack Mountain"!

Once again no to California. The house is on a hill in a state notorious for mudslides. The kitchen and those cabinets is a big no for me. Seems the house is over priced.

I do agree about the cabinetry in the kitchen. Looks like 80's cabinets that have been repainted (in a not very attractive color IMO).

The cabinets can be replaced. I can't figure out why some people will disregard an entire property over one or two items. When we watch those house shopping shows on HGTV, people will turn a place down because it doesn't have a washer and dryer in it. Damn, go buy one. Don't like cabinets? Rip em out.

I've always heard that the HGTV house hunter shows are a complete fraud. They say the people have already bought a house and they just find 2 more to make them pretend to be looking at. And I've always found it strange that so many of these foreign house hunter shows feature realtors who are clearly American.

The ugly cabinets in Jake's house notwithstanding, the rest of the property is beautiful. But it does seem rather pricey for a house that small. And most all of the lots up in the HH are postage stamp size.

We love the house and it makes us homesick for LA, the scene of our greatest triumphs!

R5, when paying 3.5 million for a home, I wouldn't want any further expense other than maybe paint. Kitchens can be costly.

I read in another article that the property is 2 acres. So maybe the price isn't so out of line after all.

How much of that 2 acres is on the hillside? It has a postage stamp size pool.

In L.A. those views have more value than the structure many times.

Does she patronize the escort services like so many of the Hollywood rich and famous - even the hot ones?
