I'm surprised Italy scored so low. And poor Ireland, with all that Irish sizemeat you'd think the laddies would be more adventuresome.

You can thank the Catholic Church on both counts.

I was always shocked by how small the gay bars were in Rome, but was told that most Italian gay men were very closeted.

We had to take a long bus ride out of the city centre to get to the tubs in Rome, but once we got there - drop dead gorgeous sizemeats from heaven!

Rome is so compacted and congested there's barely room for people to walk. I could never take that city for more than 3 or 4 days tops. It's a mad house, A MAD HOUSE!

The more 'gay tolerance/laws', the less sex.

And vice-versa.

Meanwhile, in this century . . .

Yes, at bathhouses and department store rest rooms, but Grindr seems rather busy.

We are unable to use Grindr since we do not own a smartphone.

However, we did score some excellent 28 year old Brazilian sizemeat yesterday on Manhunt dot com - and NO rubbers!

I once tried to drive in Rome. What a fucking disaster. All I was able to do was constantly circle the Colosseum over and over again until I panicked big time. Those people cut you off, honk, careen by, honk, shout, honk and drive like a plate of pasta. All over the place.

Here, we let each car go every other one to merge and a wave afterward, we would NEVER honk: that's considered impolite. (Well not in Waipahu, where anything goes....bang bang, I cut you)

We are in the process of getting our Spanish driver's licence(which is a Herculean task, btw), after which we will buy

a car and start driving all over Europe!
We hope we can get a resident's permit to park for free on the street because otherwise we will have to pay 150 euros per month for underground parking.
