U.S. Justice Department asks Ferguson police to STOP wearing bracelets in support of officer Darren Wilson Justice Department says the bracelets have 'agitated' people and led to an 'us versus them' mentality Officers policing protest sites have been seen wearing the bracelets saying 'I am Darren Wilson' Wilson killed 18-year-old Michael Brown on Aug. 9, sparking outrage in the largely black St. Louis suburb Read more: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2771656/U-S-Justice-Department-asks-Ferguson-police-STOP-wearing-bracelets-support-officer-Darren-Wilson.html#ixzz3EVd9nBCK Follow us: @MailOnline on Twitter | DailyMail on Facebook |

I was about to say, he should have been charged with capital murder for his crimes against fashion. Honestly, in this day and time are there still people who hire employees without doing a full background check first? Apparently these rubes in Ferguson are either too stupid or too lazy to do their due diligence when hiring, or just don't care. |

But what about giving someone a second chance? If he can never get another job, he's going to turn to crime to survive. |

Most anyone deserves a second chance, but in the proper venue. IMO being a PR consultant for a municipality going through what Ferguson is going through, and after having been found guilty of reckless homicide, is not the right fit IMO. And who's to say this is his 2nd chance. This may be his 9th chance. Since they apparently did little to no background checking on him he could have had countless jobs since his conviction. Nothing has been said about what sentence he received. Was he probated, sent to prison? Those nabobs in Ferguson's HR department must be a bunch of goobers who just believe whatever an applicant tells them. "He was convicted of reckless homicide, officials say he didn't tell them" Good God! |

I'm betting the folks who hired this man were thinking like Paula Deen. "Hey, we need to hire a black person for this job so we can hopefully con the black people who live here into thinking we're not a bunch of redneck bigots". |

The communications firm that released Thursday's video apology by Ferguson Police Chief Thomas Jackson is headed by a man who was convicted of reckless homicide and may have stocked his 27,000-strong Twitter following with 25,000 fake accounts, the St. Louis Post Dispatch reports. Though Ferguson Mayor James Knowles says he was aware of Devin James Group founder Devin James' background, a spokeswoman from the public agency paying for his services—the St. Louis Economic Development Partnership—told the paper she was not aware of James' record and that the agency will no longer employ him. (James says others at the agency knew about his past.) http://www.slate.com/blogs/the_slatest/2014/09/26/ferguson_police_chief_pr_rep_has_reckless_homicide_conviction.html |

Oh I'm relatively confident most of the city fathers in Ferguson probably use a very different word, at least when they're in private. |
