Beautiful at night.

Lovely setting.

But the decor reminds me a bit of a South Carolina beach house.

I rarely like much of the furnishings in these grand homes you see online. There are a few pieces in this one I like, but the more Moroccan it gets, the tackier it gets IMO. But the structure and the setting is without fault IMO.

I love the desert. And the heat isn't nearly as bad as you'd think. 100° in the desert feels like 85° where you are. And at night it can get very cool (below freezing at times). The wild animals are one thing that would attract me to the desert. They're going to stay as far away from you as possible unless they perceive you as a threat.

I have friends who live out in the high desert near Hesperia, Ca.. I've often wished I was out there full time.
