Is so fake and loud, it sounds like 1,000 people laughing at the funniest joke they ever heard. |

I agree. BBT runs on the excellent writing and acting alone without the laugh track. Although I did watch a behind the scenes video and the audience gets way carried away so I'm wondering if the laugh track is added to modulate the audience reaction. Just a thought. PS: Love me some Sheldon. |

I refuse to even answer the phone or the door when BBT is on. There are so very few mainstream shows I care for, but BBT, American Dad, and Family Guy are guilty pleasures for me. |

TA BBT is fabulous, laugh track or not. The whole cast is just great and Blossom has added a new dimension to Shelly. The show is just top notch. |

Would it be wrong for me to want Rah, legs in the air, no rubbers?

I don't watch sitcoms and loathe laugh-tracks. They seem very dated to me. To answer a question up thread: Studios usually sweeten the track because you never know which take the line in the broadcast will come from. It might be when the audience is hearing the joke for the first time -- or the 18th. |

For a while it looked like they were going to make Raj gay. I actually got the feeling he was going to hook up with the guy who owns the comic book store (did anyone else think that?). I haven't watched in a year or two (we don't have CBS with Hulu,) but I guess they went in a different direction with him. |

Sheldon always seemed asexual to me. I never really bought him with Amy. Raj definitely struck me as gay, I really think they were writing him with that subtext in mind-then they wimped out for some reason. I think Chuck Lorre has issues with a lot of things. |
