Is this feasible?

It's the only place where we have been truly happy.......

What would we do with Pepe the Schnauzer?

Be careful. You have fond memories of LA because you were what you are not now: Young and in demand.

It won't be the same.

You are better to try to be happy with what you have. Barcelona is a lovely city. I like is much more than phony LA. Commit to a life there and being happy with it.

He would have to ride in the cargo hold and he would die from fright.
We could give him to our upstairs neighbors who love him dearly but perhaps we have to wait until he decides to go to dog heaven, which could be another 5 years(he will be 13 next week).
The last time we were planning to move back to LA we got married and as a result we are still here. Perhaps we will get married again soon........

A vet could give you a tranquilizer for him that is mild, but strong enough to calm him down so he wouldn't be terrified.

If I were MPC, I'd be rather careful about going to a vet.

Most would be tempted to put one of you down. And it wouldn't be the dog.

We would never put a dog into the cargo hold......not all of them arrive alive, despite what the airline may tell you,

I don't think you'd ever be able to leave Pepe behind. I know I couldn't. It would be no different for me (and I believe, you) than leaving your own child behind.

Yes, Tybee, we see eye-to-eye on that. I can not leave Pepe.

I'm sure Pepe was counting on your dying first.
