You can't make this stuff up... http://www.standard.co.uk/news/drag-queens-banned-from-pride-event-because-they-may-offend-transgender-people-10403198.html Do these delicate flowers even want our support? Going after drag queens seems like a good way to lose it fast. |

I have stated all along get rid of the T's, why were they added to GL's to start with? Anyone can tell they are mental cases or voyeurs and pedophiles in women's restrooms. Gays are adopting children, do you want one of them in the restroom with your child? Someone has to take a stand about this crap. |

The story is hysterical. But is Catilyn Jenner a real trans-testicle or just another silly drag queen? |

Bruce is a drag queen, if the media left him alone, he would be back in male clothing and have a guy haircut. |

Those draggies are fabo. That pix is spectacular. Takes a lot of work to look like that. Reminds me of the days when queer was fun, flamboyant and fabulous. |

It would seem to me that at a gay pride event the ones they should worry about being offended are the true drag queens, not the fake drag queens pretending to be real females. I dare say the real drag queens have done far more the help the gay community overall than the transgendered gals have. Edited by Tybee, Jul 22 2015, 11:56 AM.

Drag hits a little close to home for the trannies, pretending to be real women, but looking less like the real thing than drag queens. |

Exactly. Drag is an art form. Drag queens were at the forefront of the gay rights struggle. Trans can go fuck themselves. I'm tired of their politically correct self-induced drama. |

Talking with radical trans people or trans-activists is like thermonuclear war. The only way to win is not to play. Whatever you say, no matter what it is and what your intentions are, it will offend them. Because they thrive on being offended. It gives them permission to externalize their rage. And they enjoy the power that comes with being a moral judge over others. So they will look for any opportunity to be offended. If you don’t provide it, they will invent it. If you abide by all of their “trans etiquette” rules, they will invent new rules or change the old rules. If you find yourself caught in a trans attack, whatever you do, don’t apologize. Listening to you grovel will only add to their pleasure and mark you as an attractive target for more abuse. LGBs are already their preferred victims, so don’t add to it by satisfying their sadistic drive. |

They want to be seen as 100% whatever sex they've changed to and can't fathom that many, if not most, people see them as a facsimile (sometimes reasonable and sometimes not). So they get hardcore about it thinking they'll just force everyone to see them the way they want to be seen, and it doesn't work that way. The more force they use the less people will agree with them. Who knows, maybe it's all the new hormones they're being given that make them get pissy. |

Doesn't anyone recognize mental illness anymore? Trans are mentally ill, they need help but to many nuts give them fodder. Any doctor giving them hormones needs to be brought up on charges. Trans have so many issues and their sex isn't it. |

Do any of you know any Trans people in real life. I don't myself, but they are probably just like everyone else-except maybe a bit more reserved and trying not to draw attention to themselves. (I don't think they belong in the gay rights movement, but I do think we should be supportive.) |

I didn't "know" this guy, but back in the 70's I used to grocery shop at an A&P. There was this really tall red headed guy who had worked the checkouts for years. Then all of a sudden I noticed he was never there. After not seeing him for several weeks I just assumed he had quit. A few months later I went in one day and I noticed this really tall amazon caked in makeup with flaming red hair working a checkout. I didn't pay really close attention until I got to the checkout. It finally hit me as I was standing in her line listening to her chit chat with the customers. It was the tall red headed guy who had gone missing. I didn't say a word while she was ringing me up but when I got to the car I asked the bag boy if that was who I thought it was and he confirmed it was, and that he had the full whack-a-doodle, and wasn't just dressing like a drag queen. He only lasted there a couple months after he came back as a she. |

You gotta give the woman in Tybee's credit. I don't understand it all, and it makes me sort of grossed out, but it took a lot of courage to do what she did. |

As a child we dreamed of becoming a nun and would often dress as one, when our parents were not home. |

I've had a trans friend for 25 years or so, when we met he had his breast implants and was working as a stripper and turning tricks. He wanted to have the complete surgery but had promised his mother he wouldn't as long as she was living. He eventually went to Thailand and had the bottom, got infected, became ill and had to spend an extra 6 months there. It was his mother that came to his rescue. Once home his tricks left him, told him if they wanted a woman they would get a real one, that he was no longer exotic. He now cleans offices and lives with an alcoholic that beats and berates him. He has said many times if he had it to do over he wouldn't have the complete surgery, breasts can be undone, the rest can't, it wasn't worth it. He still has the same demons he always had, he knows he isn't a real woman, although in looks he puts many to shame. The old story of be careful what you wish for is so true. |

I have a trans friend too. But I am not sure if she had full SRS or the bottom surgery, as she did not get fake tits, and she knows a lot of trans women who do not get a full sex change or bottom surgery as it can apparently make you stop having any sensation, or pleasure down there. I have noticed how some ts/tg people get very angry at the term tranny, but they do not seem to care or ignore trans people who use this term to describe themselves. |

I never refer to my friend as she or her. His mother always wanted him called by his given name. Knowing my friend all these years I'm realized it's not a sex issue, it's a self worth issue. The medical field is so messed up, it's all about the money and not really helping so called trans people at all. |
