Caitlyn Jenner’s appearance on the season premiere of The Ellen DeGeneres Show yesterday has many people talking about the self-described traditionalist’s views on same-sex marriage. Although Jenner admitted that in the past she didn’t understand the desire for marriage equality, she has since evolved…sort of. “If that word marriage is really, really that important to you, then I can go with it,” Jenner stated as she made air quotes with her hand while saying the word marriage during the sit-down with Ellen. While the 65-year-old Republican chose her words carefully in an effort to be as diplomatic as possible, DeGeneres was not buying it. The talk show host made the observation during their chat that Jenner still didn’t seem on board with the topic. She elaborated further during yesterday’s edition of The Howard Stern Show. “She still has a judgment about gay marriage,” a baffled DeGeneres told Stern. The comedienne noted that Jenner wants people to understand and accept her while she still has a judgment about gay people and marriage. Stern and his co-host Robin Quivers considered it remarkable that Jenner, after hiding for most of her life, wants to be herself and does not want to be ridiculed, yet would state she doesn’t understand gay marriage. Even though Caitlyn might be a traditionalist at heart, there was one tradition she did not want to uphold during her time with Ellen. DeGeneres revealed that Jenner didn’t dance with her, a routine gesture that many of her guests engage in while on her show. “Maybe she didn’t want to dance with me because I’m a lesbian,” deadpanned the comedic host. |

People can say whatever they want about Caitlyn Jenner, but IMO her biggest problem is mental illness. You can't expect much reason from someone who is mentally ill. The way people in the industry are hawking her as a renewed woman, free from all her past gender issues is laughable. She's nuts, plain and simple.

This is not surprising at all. Trans people have been some of the most homophobic, biphobic, and even heterophobic people I have ever met...or in a lot of cases they have a lot of hatred, and anger towards anyone that is not trans and they call them 'cis'. |

I'm interested to know what her plans are after this reality show is over. She doesn't appear to have much to offer these days other than as a side show novelty. And that's only going to go so far. In fact I think that angle has almost exhausted itself already as the ratings on her show tanked many weeks back. |

Caitlyn, Kim Davis & the Duggars, I'm so sick of these side-show freaks... I wish they'd all die in a good, old-fashioned Datalounge grease-fire. |

He/She wasn't nearly as eloquent as on that sports awards show a while back. Halting and distracted. If Ellen was hoping for a gay rights advocate she was disappointed. |

Mr T, can you expand on your comment that Jenner is mentally ill? I've heard this from others too but just don't see it based on a traditional definition of paranoia, obsessive-compulsive, schizophrenia etc. |

Of course this is just my personal perception, but I believe without some scientific proof that these people have the chromosomal makeup of a different sex than their physical body is, then it has to be a mental defect that makes them feel this way. To date no one has provided one scintilla of evidence that this syndrome has any real physical causation whatsoever. What the mental defect or illness is, I have no idea. Of course it could also be some form of severe personality disorder. A hatred of oneself as the sex you are therefore a manic reaction and extreme desire to become a different sex.

More than a few Trans people I have met did have mental illnesses from major depression, to being extremely paranoid and probably bipolar or schizophrenic. |

Anyone else think that this is all just another publicity stunt. The whole transgender thing. Man, this family will do just about anything for fame. |

Personally I think it's gone too far to have started as a publicity stunt, but she's certainly been using it as one since. I mean, she's had boobs surgically added, and I have to assume the love tackle removed. I still wonder where they got all the additional skin needed to house those fun bags. |

When is she going to fess up? "I'm kind of open to anything" is obviously code for "I want some dick and I want it bad". ![]() 'I'm kind of open to anything': Caitlyn Jenner talks about her love life and reveals she still does not know if she wants to date men or women Caitlyn Jenner told Matt Lauer on Today she still is not sure if she wants to date men or women following her transition 'I'm kind of open to anything,' Jenner told Lauer Jenner was previously married three times, and producers on I Am Cait have implied she may have an interest in transgender pal Candis Cayne She said on one episode of the show she admired the male physique, but would 'want to have the right parts' before dating a man Jenner also said it has been easier to have friendships with women as opposed to men since she transitioned http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3229269/I-m-kind-open-Caitlyn-Jenner-talks-love-life-reveals-does-not-know-wants-date-men-women.html |

She said on one episode of the show she admired the male physique, but would 'want to have the right parts' before dating a man I guess that answers that. So for all intents and purposes she's still a man, albeit with pendulous tits, but a man nonetheless. So maybe this is a bit of a scam. With all her money, if she was truly serious about transitioning into a woman, she would have had that done long ago. Edited by Tybee, Sep 10 2015, 04:51 PM.

We remember seeing her in Golds Gym Venice 25 years ago. She was definitely 'admiring the male physique'.......to the point that her tongue was almost hanging out and she looked ready to jump the nearest hot number. |

It's an factual viewpoint a lot of gay, bisexual, and lesbian people who have been around trans people in person or encountered trans activists online have. |
