What are some other good free anti-spyware programs besides Super anti-spyware? I had Spyware terminator but it kept crashing at times so I uninstalled it. |

I use Avast. I've tried them all and I find the Avast UI to be the best at giving you control over what the software does and scheduling scans. I would try the free version first and if you like it you can either stick with that (which is good enough for the vast majority of people) or spend a little and get the Pro version. I also use it on my phone. https://www.avast.com/en-us/lp-ppc-win-01c?utm_source=bing&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=EN-US_Search_Brand_Bing_Free&utm_term=avast%20free Edited by Tybee, Sep 30 2015, 04:14 PM.

I misread your post OP. If your looking specifically for anti-spyware software I think Malwarebytes-Anti Malware is excellent. Click the download button for the free version. https://www.malwarebytes.org/ |

Thanks. In reply to your other post: I already use Avast and it's the best free anti-virus software I have used so far. |

A co-worker used Avast & got malware on his computer. Avast charged him $179.00 to remove it, failed to remove the malware & refused to refund his money. |

Unfortunately there is no such thing as a 100% perfect anti-virus program. I've had un-removable malware before. I took care of it by doing a system restore to a point long before I got the malware. |
