Everything must go! Trump's Taj Mahal in Atlantic City is stripped as buyers scramble to snap up a bargain with lamps starting at just $15 and poker chairs for $39 before its $375m redevelopment... and not even the MOLD can put them off

Sale at the former hotel in Atlantic City started last week and will run for 60 days or until everything is gone

Everything from poker tables to the casino's chandeliers and hotel beds and pillows are up for grabs

Beneath carpets and wallpaper mold could be seen but that did not seem to deter bargain hunters
Anything with President Trump's name on isn't for sale and has been removed from the site

The casino will be turned into a Hard Rock Hotel & Casino opening in 2018 after a $375m refurbishment
National Content Liquidators is running the sale and it expects the casino to be emptied by buyers

Who the hell wants a mold encrusted, 20 year old matress? Maybe a kitschy lamp or side chair. But that crap is dated, nasty and not that cheap. There is a pix of someone hauling out acres of filthy, gaudy, nasty drapes. I can smell the cigarette smoke and BO from here.

Must be another example of Trump's Winning!

Has anyone been there? It looks like a low rent attempt to replicate the Vegas Caesar's Palace. He thinks that just because you slap some gold on every thing, it makes it high class.

I remember he and Merv Griffin got into some business tussle years ago over casinos. Trump claim a huuuuuuge victory over Merv. Maybe it was really the other way around!

I never went there, but I've been to Atlantic City. One of the most depressing cities I've ever been to. The only glitz and glamour you'll find is inside the big hotels. The city itself reeks of a city on a massive downward spiral (at least it did when I was there). If it wasn't for all the nursing home excursion buses bringing the old timers in from all over the area (as far away as NYC) on day trips I think the town would fold up and die.
