Expect him to eventually start saying he had those images on his home computer because he was investigating a child porn ring in his official capacity as Deputy Attorney General, and they certainly weren't on his computer for his own prurient entertainment. Uh huh. |

If I remember correctly that's the excuse Pete Townshend came up with when he was found with child porn on his computer.

Somebody claimed that his cat dancing across his keyboard caused illicit material to be downloaded by accident. No cat should have to live with such an idiot. |

The cat did the google search and found the images but his tea cup poodle actually did the download. And right wingers would believe it. |

It's always amazing and hilarious the excuses even highly intelligent people will come up with when they're caught at something really bad. It's like they're thinking "well I have nothing to lose so I'm just going to throw caution to the wind". |

When I worked for the Fed gov't, we periodically received official warnings that we were not authorized to visit porn sites or download the content thereof unless doing so was part of our regularly constituted duties. Theoretically, the FBI's duties might include monitoring such material (ugh!), but the rest of us certainly did not have such duties, so these warnings caused great levity whenever they appeared. |
