Upload it to the video hosting site I told you about the other day and then post the link here.

You can also upload the viedeo to YouTube. If you use that site I do suggest you turn off the comments section. Here's various ways to upload to YouTube.

What was that upload site, Tybee? Sorry, we had great difficulty with it before but will try again if you give us the link. Thanks

YouTube is probably your best bet. If you don't have a Google email address set one up and then sign into YouTube with it. You then have your own channel to upload videos to. Just click the upload (the up arrow) at the top of the page and follow the instructions. Again, make sure you disable comments because you know what will happen if you don't.

Due to the format, mp4 from our smart phone, it is impossible

YouTube accepts mp4 format. Did you try and get back some sort of error?

YouTube file specs: formats, resolution, size. One of the best YouTube features of 2015 is the ability to support 8 video formats for uploading: MOV, MP4 (MPEG4), AVI, WMV, FLV, 3GP, MPEGPS, WebM. Several years ago, YouTube accepted only a few formats and video had to be under 100 MB and 10 minutes long.

The best we can do is to send it from our whatsapp account to another whatsapp account.

How large is the file?
12.56 mb

Unfortunately it's too big to attach to an email then. Most email clients only allow a maximum of 10mb per file.

Is the file on a mini SD card in your smartphone or just housed on the phone's internal drive? If it's on an SD card you could transfer the video from your phone to your computer. Just make sure you follow your manufacturer's instructions to unmount the SD card before you remove it, otherwise you risk damaging the files on the card. The unmount function will be in your settings somewhere, probably under an icon labeled "storage" or something similar. It'll be much easier to deal with on the computer than the smart phone.

Also, if your phone is one that will act as a flash drive you can just transfer the file to your computer by plugging the data cable (the same cable you use to charge the phone if it's a USB charging cable) into a USB port in your computer. That way there's no need to remove the SD card. Not all smartphones will allow that functionality though.

He looks quite vigorous there. You should send this video to the vet who wanted to put him down.

Thanks Tybee for your kind words and advice...., we took him to our AA meeting tonight and he was more or less OK, for a 15 year old dog.
Maybe the thing has gone into remissia.

Pepe is now snoozing with the air-co on and we shall shortly retire to our bed.

Pepe was fine yesterday at noon as we set off by car for Paris, stopping overnight in the little town of Massiac https://www.google.fr/search?q=massiac+france&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwit-a6M_srVAhXlDcAKHY39CHgQ_AUICygC&biw=1040&bih=668#imgrc=8UULGObr-cTkcM:. High up in the mountains it was nice and COLD and such a nice change from the hellhole weather in Barcelona now. Then Pepe went downhill fast, can not really walk well to do his chores, but still did them, and had a slight incontinence incident in the car. We are hoping that good food and his familiar dog bed here in Paris will make him OK again tomorrow. He still has a terrific appetite. He has often been like this and then the next day like Lazarus he is restored again. But we will meet tomorrow with a trusted vet here to discuss the possible optias.

^^^jeeze. That sounds frighteningly like me sometimes. Pepe and I are more alike than I thought! I'd better stay away from your vet!

Long car trips can be hard on older pets. It's an upset to the routine, and he's not able to move around freely as he does at home. He'll probably shake it off in a day or so once he's able to move around freely. Remember, Pepe probably has osteoarthritis (as most of us do at a certain age) and having to stay in one position for very long makes the joints freeze up. I hope Pepe is still taking some sort of anti-inflamatory.

MPC ask the vet in Paris if there is a form of Mobic for dogs. That's what I take for my arthritis. So far it's the best thing I've taken.

Tybee you are correct. We suspected that the long tedious drive was stressful for him.
This morning, after a good nights rest in peaceful familiar Paris surroundings, Pepe is 100% better, he was able to stand and walk, barely but yesterday he could do neither, and did peepee and poopoo normally, also ate his usual big breakfast. We gave him a quick little shower bath since he was a dirty dog after the trip. Now he is a clean dry dog dozing in his familiar dog bed and no doubt dreaming about the beefsteak/fresh apple/organic kibble that awaits him at lunchtime. We were planning a three day trip to the Italian Alps(by car or train, maybe better train, first class, which would take about 5 hours total) but we guess that is now out. He has never suffered from that train journey in the past however. Pepe is taking a daily antibiotic to control the nasal infectia and prevent the bleeding but we have not given him his anti-inflamnatory for months now, fearing to mix it with the antibiotic, although the vet said it is ok to do so. We shall resume it when we return to BCN in three weeks. Perhaps we can get some from the vet here.

You definitely need to get him back on the anti-inflamatory. The vet in Paris will most certainly give him whatever he needs.

Thanks Tybee, you were right. Tonight during his evening constitutional Pepe was walking more or less normally though slowly.

And to think that 24 hours ago he seemed to be at death;s door, unable to walk or even stand up!
