We are preparing for the long drive back to Barcelona; with an overnight stop in the Dordogne

We plan to simplify things for speed this time. Only stopping at parks for peepee for ourself and Pepe, otherwise stopping only for gas, bringing peanut butter sandwiches and water, nothing else for food to eat at the rest stop. Never again paying high prices for the vile roadside food.

You sound a bit cheap. Put a bit of jelly in those sandwiches for poor Pepe.

Better than on the trip there maybe because we brought his dog bed from Paris and he slept very well in it last night at the hotel terminus in the dordogne http://www.balandre.com/index_en.html
it was 11 degrees centigrade(we made sure pepe was covered with a blanket) and we slept with all the windows open for that fresh country air! He seems to be exhausted, sound asleep now, not back home in BCN but hopefully tomorrow he will be OK again. La Balandre must be the rather famous restaurant in the hotel, we scanned the dinner menu last night and we saw that the complete dinner was 65 euros we handed it back to receptia and retired to our room for the night! The breakfast in the same dining room this morning, for 10 euros, was about par for the course for France, where they don't really eat breakfast.

Pepe is much better this morning, eating as usual, took his medicatia, and a decent walk with two good poopoos!
We just put him under the shower, washing his head face beard with baby sampoo.

On the drive back, were you able to take the scenic route, the Hershey Highway? :wag

We had two 'experiences' while in paris, neither one was anything to write home about.
