I will always answer the phone with, "autopsy", if I don't recognize the number. It's a lot of fun too! Scammers, wrong numbers --- they all get flustered. I'll play along, telling them that they reached the medical examiners office. When they ask for me by name, I'll ask if the person works here or is a guest in one of our freezers.

I've watched a ton of those IRS scam videos. Once the scammers know they've been made they almost always start getting nasty mouthed. I've seen them tell their mark they're going to come over and fuck their mothers and make their fathers suck them off, and worse.

A neighbor of mine used to answer scam/telemarketer phonecalls as though he was running a BDSM/sex dungeon.

My father told me how he got mad at some Indian/Pakistani Telemarketer just telling him not to call and the Indian telemarketer replied back, "You bark like a dog!" :hysterical
