In a free country, everyone is free to enter or leave without passports or 'security checks', everyone can do whatever work he wants, buy, sell, or consume whatever he wants so long as he does not harm us or make us pay for it. Of course there would be no socialism of any kind, no free taxpayer money handed out to anyone, native or foreign, for any reason. Thus only good people , people who want to work and support themselves, would immigrate to the country, all the trash/dreck/loafers would migrate to 'friendlier' jurisdictias.

As a Californian, I have a request:

Whatever you may think of the merits of such legislation, please don't refer to the state as Cali.

Thanks.

That would certainly keep you out.

Please pardon these people.

They probably also refer to a certain city by the Bay as "Frisco" -- even when they don't need it to rhyme with "disco."

My dad has friends from WWII who are old Navy men & they all say "Frisco" -- they also refer to "San Berdoo" & "San Peedro" -- colorful, picturesque, colloquial, & I don't mind it coming from them.

But "Cali" is recent & has no charming historical provenance, it just sounds dumb. And it always makes me think of the Hindu goddess Kali, who's somewhat grim (to put it mildly).

Yes, r7, and we totally regret that we moved here instead of Switzerland or Austria, but Spain is still cheaper than just about anywhere else in Europe.

The NWO, which began to infect Spain like a cancer in the late 1970s, is tightening it's grip and eroding freedom more and more each year, sadly.

But as a English-speaking woman over 30, and of limited financial means, our optias were limited.....
