JEANTEL WARNED ZIMMERMAN COULD BE GAY RAPIST TRAYVON: NOT THAT KIND OF WAY Tue Jul 16 2013 11:55:00 ET Last night Trayvon Martin's friend Rachel Jeantel gave CNN her first interview since testifying in the George Zimmerman murder trial. Jeantel opened up and let loose on the murder case that gripped that nation. She explained to CNN's Piers Morgan how she warned her childhood friend that Zimmerman -- could be a gay rapist! MORGAN: You felt that there was no doubt in your mind from what Trayvon was telling you on the phone about the creepy ass cracka and so on, that he absolutely believed that George Zimmerman, this man, you didn't know who he was at the time, but this man, was pursuing him? JEANTEL: Yes. MORGAN: And he was freaked out by it? JEANTEL: Yes. Definitely after I say may be a rapist, for every boy, for every man, every -- who's not that kind of way, seeing a grown man following them, would they be creep out? She continued: "And people need to understand, he didn't want that creepy ass cracker going to his father or girlfriend's house to go get -- mind you, his little brother was there. You know -- now, mind you, I told you -- I told Trayvon it might have been a rapist." http://www.drudgereport.com/flashrj.htm |

(CNSNews.com) – In the 20-day period of the George Zimmerman trial, four minors – three teens and a five-year-old boy - were gunned down in Chicago, according to Homicide Watch Chicago, a Chicago Sun-Times publication, which details every murder that takes place in the city. On June 28, five-year-old Sterling Sims was killed in a double murder that also claimed the life of his mother, 31-year-old Chavonne Brown. Both were shot in their apartment, and police believe the motive was robbery. On July 1, 16-year-old Antonio Fenner was gunned down on the sidewalk next to the body of a 32-year-old man who had gang ties. No arrests were made, and no suspects have been named. Fenner’s mother believes her son was in the wrong place at the wrong time, because no one in her family knew the other victim or what Fenner’s association was to him. On July 3, 14-year-old Damani Henard was murdered outside a high school. His body was found next a bicycle. On July 9, 15-year-old Ed Cooper was shot and killed while spending time with friends at the park. A gunman got out of a black van and began firing as the boys ran away. Cooper was shot in the street and continued running to a vacant lot where he died. Zimmerman was charged with killing Trayvon Martin, an unarmed black teenager in Sanford, Fla., who was walking through a gated community on his way home from the convenience store. Zimmerman argued that he acted in self-defense. - See more at: http://cnsnews.com/news/article/four-children-gunned-down-chicago-during-zimmerman-trial#sthash.yfmRAwDA.dpuf http://cnsnews.com/news/article/four-children-gunned-down-chicago-during-zimmerman-trial |

This woman is basking in the limelight right now. She's having the time of her life. She's in New York City on CNN's dime and I'm betting the hotel has had to bring in another shift just to handle her room service orders. This happened almost a year and a half ago. She didn't even show up for his funeral so I imagine she "moved on" within a couple days after he was shot. Any upset she may be displaying after all this time is 100% fabrication and for the cameras only. |

A fiery confrontation erupted between Fox News Channel anchor Greta Van Susteren and Tryavon Martin family attorney Jasmine Rand on Monday night after the lawyer argued that it was her job as a legal counsel to also be a “social engineer.” Her comment spurred Van Susteren to blast Rand for not properly understanding her role as an attorney and for presumptuously questioning the decision reached by a jury. Rand was openly critical of the jury’s decision to acquit George Zimmerman of culpability for the 2012 shooting death of Martin in her appearance on Fox News. “I don’t think that they properly considered the evidence,” Rand declared. “If they had listened to the evidence and they had followed the law, then George Zimmerman would have been convicted of murder.” “You’re a lawyer, right?” Van Susteren asked sternly. “It’s your duty — it’s not mine, it’s not yours, or anybody else — but it’s the jury’s duty to weigh [the evidence]. All of the sudden, suddenly, afterwards you say they can’t do their job?” “I have a greater duty beyond being an attorney, and that’s to be a social engineer,” Rand shot back. “And when the law doesn’t get it right, I believe that we have the right to peacefully, and morally, conscientiously object to the decision of the jury.” Van Susteren did not appreciate what she called Rand’s “deeply disturbing” response. The Fox host said that she knows Rand is aware that many of the Americans protesting the verdict did not watch the case as intently as the jury did and is not as aware of the facts of the case. “This social engineering? I don’t know. That’s more like social manipulation,” Van Susteren said. “Justice is presented in a courtroom with both sides having an opportunity. That’s justice.” “Courtrooms do not always deliver justice,” Rand countered. “You’re aware of the civil rights movement.” “I bet if we put my career up next to yours in terms of yours on civil rights and what we’ve done in a courtroom for poor people, I’ll put my career up against yours any day you want, jasmine,” The Fox host declared. “I just don’t criticize juries.” Rand said that she meant by invoking the term “social engineer” that Zimmerman would not have been arrested in the first place were it not for the outcry from American minorities demanding the state indict Zimmerman on some charge. If Van Susteren had the time, it’s likely that she would have informed Rand that criminal indictments in America are not handed down as a response to unrest. Further, maybe Van Susteren would have mentioned that the state could not convict Zimmerman after, by her own admission, they charged him only as a result of the public clamor. But Van Susteren delivered an effective dressing down nonetheless. It was glorious to watch. http://www.mediaite.com/tv/greta-van-susteren-destroys-trayvon-martin-family-attorney-for-saying-her-job-is-to-be-a-social-engineer/ |

It's a poor lawyer who refuses to accept the decision of the jury. All Rand had to say was "I may not agree with it, but I accept it" and no one would have a problem with her. But you have to remember one thing. She's thinking about her future career and is in "advertising mode" right now. She's trying to get as much media attention as possible. I'll bet she'll be writing a book before long, and looking for a job as a highly paid "host" just like Greta did after OJ, only she'll be knocking on CNN and MSNBC's doors (if they haven't already knocked on hers). There's little honor among these people. Every single one of the lawyers on both sides saw $ signs in their eyes the day they took this case. Edited by Tybee, Jul 17 2013, 05:36 AM.

I don't see this happening. College or her planned "law enforcement career". Trayvon Martin’s friend gets college scholarship offer from Tom Joyner The future may have gotten a little brighter for Trayvon Martin’s friend Rachel Jeantel. Syndicated radio talk show host Tom Joyner has offered Jeantel a full scholarship to show support for the teen who was roundly criticized as being ‘ghetto’ after her testimony in the trial of George Zimmerman. Zimmerman was acquitted Saturday of a second-degree murder charge in the shooting death last February of 17-year-old Martin. Jeantel was on the phone with Trayvon Martin the night he was killed. On Tuesday morning, Joyner spoke with the 19-year-old Jeantel and expressed support to her, saying, “I love you, I really do love you.” He continued: “If you want to graduate from high school, and go to an HBCU [historically black college and university], even if it’s not in Florida, but especially Florida, like Florida Memorial, Edward Waters or FAMU, if you want to do that, I want to help you do that,” Joyner told the young woman. Joyner offered additional support to ensure that Jentel would be college ready. “I will help you get tutors to get you out of high school, tutors to help you pass the SAT and I will give you a full ride scholarship to any HBCU you’d like,” he said. Jeantel politely responded with a “thank you,” and then explained she may want to pursue a law enforcement career. You can find out more on Joyner’s offer at blackamericaweb.com After she testified during Zimmerman‘s murder trial, Jeantel was mocked for her looks, speech, weight and ‘ghetto’ disposition. On Monday, on CNN with Piers Morgan, she called the verdict “BS” and said Martin “was a calm, chill, loving person who loved his family, definitely his mother, and a good friend.” Joyner is heard in Atlanta on 104.1. http://www.ajc.com/news/news/local/trayvon-martins-friend-gets-college-scholarship-of/nYsy3/ |

Wasn't it discovered during the trial that she is functionally illiterate? If that's the case I don't see any amount of tutors getting her college ready anytime soon. As far as her law enforcement aspirations are concerned, she'll have to be able to successfully complete the police academy program first.

Comedian Bill Cosby says the acquittal of George Zimmerman in the death of Florida teen isn't about racism. Cosby, an outspoken voice on cultural issues, says the recent trial did not prove that Zimmerman had racist motives at any point during his confrontation with Martin. That means race shouldn't be a part of the conversation regarding the case. http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Hollywood/2013/07/18/cosby-zimmerman-not-racist CHARLES BARKLEY: Well, I agreed with the verdict. I feel sorry that young kid got killed. But they didn't have enough evidence to charge him. Something clearly went wrong that night. Clearly something went wrong. I feel bad for anybody who loses a kid, but if you looked at the case and you don't make it -- there was some racial profiling, no question about it. But something happened that changed the dynamic of that night, and I know -- that's probably not a popular opinion among most people but just looking at the evidence I agreed with the verdict. http://www.realclearpolitics.com/video/2013/07/18/charles_barkley_on_zimmerman_trial_i_agree_with_the_verdict.html |

I am so tired of this shit. Was he a little thug wannabe instead of an angel? Probably. But he was fucking unarmed, and Zimmerman fucking stalked him and directly caused the conflict that got the kid killed. It was preventable, and it was Zimmerman's fault. He belongs in jail, but is free because the victim was a poor black kid no one gives a shit about. End of story, you racist jackasses. |

The racial profiteers were out in full force last night on cable t v, like sex, race sells. People have made millions for themselves exploiting race and will continue to do so. What has been the eye opener for me is the lengths people will go to profit from it, even the United States President has inserted himself into the the situation, what happened to separation of Federal and State government? People swore to tell the truth and perjured themselves and are continuing to lie outside of court, is it for social engineering or profit? What is the goal for social engineers? I don't know if blacks became jealous of the press about gays or what. One thing I have learned is while the racial profiteers are many, so are the social profiteers. |

Maybe people are upset about the Trayvon verdict because there is no way that that boy should be dead. Period. And the person who got away with it brings to light a reality that blacks in the unequal justice system face every day. How do you get justice in a system that's already slanted against you: One in three black men can expect to go to prison in their lifetime. Individuals of color have a disproportionate number of encounters with law enforcement, indicating that racial profiling continues to be a problem. African Americans are 21 percent more likely to receive mandatory minimum prison sentences. AA receive sentences that are 10 times longer for the same offences Black and brown babies and children are 4 times less likely to be offered pain management for illnesses than white children (so even doctors practice bias without even realizing it) AA make up 14 percent of regular drug users but are 37 percent of those arrested for drug offences African American women are three times more likely than white women to be incarcerated, while Hispanic women are 69 percent more likely than white women to be incarcerated. A report by the Department of Justice found that blacks and Hispanics were approximately three times more likely to be searched during a traffic stop than white motorists. African Americans were twice as likely to be arrested and almost four times as likely to experience the use of force during encounters with the police. Cue, the racist, inbred guest comments in 5, 4, 3, 2 .... |

Actor Romany Malco of Weeds and The 40-Year-Old Virgin fame took to The Huffington Post to comment on the death of Florida teen Travyon Martin. What Malco wrote hardly reflected the majority opinion in Hollywood. In fact, Malco's piece is both more thoughtful and considerate than nearly everything penned by his industry peers since George Zimmerman was acquitted in the death of Martin July 13. Malco's lengthy piece explores black images in the entertainment world, our culture's willingness to ignore the many black teens who died before and after Martin's fatal encounter with George Zimmerman and, most importantly, the mainstream media's role in whipping up a racial frenzy all in the name of ratings. He even spares a sentence to castigate a culture which refuses to hold President Barack Obama to his promises. Hundreds of blacks die annually in South Side Chicago without even a blurb. Trayvon isn't in the mainstream news for any reason other than ratings and profit.... Our "government" continues to wreak havoc on our civil liberties and there is little to no protest from the black community because of media diversion tactics that keep such pertinent issues out of mainstream media.... My point being, people are up in arms about Trayvon based on regurgitated pundits and manipulated facts aired to elicit emotion while fueling America's anger and division. That's how you boost ratings. No different from Piers Morgan's desperate rant over gun control when he knew his ratings were in the dumps.... Trayvon was doomed the moment ignorance became synonymous with young black America. We lost that case by using media outlets (music, movies, social media, etc.) as vehicles to perpetuate the same negative images and social issues that destroyed the black community in the first place. When we went on record glorifying violent crime and when we voted for a president we never thought to hold accountable.... If we really wanted to ensure Trayvon Martin's killing was not in vain, we'd stop perpetuating negative images that are now synonymous with black men in America. We'd stop rapping about selling drugs and killing niggas. http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Hollywood/2013/07/19/think-like-man-actor-trayvon-essay |

"Said she fought to the end to get him convicted" Of what? We all KNOW he murdered the tiny tot. But it's the REASON he shot him- to get him the fuck off him- that matters. Who knows- including Zimmerman- if he "meant" to kill him dead; corner a creature and it will fight for it's life with whatever it has. The jurors and the Martin kin are coming off as dangerous jerks, loose cannons (like TrayTray?). They'd knock you down if you were between them and a TV camera. I hope they collect the jackpot they're after. But I doubt if they'll donate it to some Murdered Children's Fund... |

There's a big difference in "murder" and "killed". I wasn't there so I have no idea why he felt he had to shoot Martin. But based on what info I've read it seems to me he (Zimmerman) was partially responsible for putting himself in a position where he had to kill that kid. And because of his culpability I believe Zimmerman should have been convicted of something . If he had done what the police dispatcher ordered him to do and leave so the cops could take care of the situation none of this would have happened. |

I feel George had every right to defend himself. The liberal media has tried to turn Trayvon into this sweet kid. Why don't they tell the truth, he was far from that. Yes, it's sad he is dead, but he played a large roll in his own death when he sucker punched George and was bashing his head into the sidewalk. This was not Trayvon's first rodeo. Much has been said about George keeping his eye on Trayvon, well, he was new to the neighborhood, George was Neighborhood Watch captain, it was raining and thieves love the rain. Didn't someone call George about Trayvon? Why did Trayvon's mother feel it necessary to send him to his father? This was not a racist case as Crump seems to feel it is. I think Crump thinks if a lie is repeated enough people will believe it, well most don't. |

Trayvon was a MAN. A hulking, full-grown six-footer- taller than the store clerk. He skulked around the store suspiciously enough that the clerk kept an eye on him. When the transaction was over, he appears to leave, then circles back and wanders around. He looks menacing in the black hoodie (night camouflage?) that shrouds his head: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zNEZo6eG4N8 |

Everyone has a right to defend themselves against violence. What Zimmerman didn't have a right to do was disobey a lawful order issued by the police dispatcher and take the law into his own hands. And for that he should have shared in the blame for what ultimately happened IMO. But I guess in the end he is and will continue to suffer because of his actions. He may not be held legally responsible (yet) for killing Martin, but society will most likely hold him responsible no matter where he goes for a long time. He'll serve a sentence one way or another. |
