![]() This year's bad news for MSNBC has only gotten worse. The "Lean Forward" network has struggled in the ratings since the Boston Marathon bombings exposed the network's glaring weakness when it comes to news gathering. MSNBC had hoped to turn that around by going all-in on with the Zimmerman, but it didn't. Compared to last year in July, MSNBC was down -12% in total viewers and -4% in the 25-54 demo. "Morning Joe" lost -4% of its viewers, -8% in the 25 to 54 demo. Chris Hayes, Rachel Maddow, and Lawrence O'Donnell all took huge hits over last year. Hayes is down -27%, O'Donnell's down -29%, and Maddow slid -19% in total viewers. The numbers were not much better in the 25-54 demo. The only silver lining were slight viewer increases for Martin Bashir, Chris Matthews, and "The Cycle." In total day, MSNBC is now in fourth place, behind Fox News, CNN, and HLN. http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Journalism/2013/07/30/MSNBC-Drops-to-fourth-loses-12-percent-viewers |

Oh, and you aren't on one of your safe little fundie sites like FreeRepublic where I'll get banned or deleted. I will beat your ass into submission every single time you try to post your ignorant, misinformed right wing bullshit here. Ask my haters here. I don't back down and I don't go away. Ever. So bring it, bitch. |

*"Too much credit," not "to much credit." * Your first sentence is a run-on. There should either be a semi-colon between "credit" and "not" or a period after "credit," in which case "not" should be capitalized. * The comma after "So" in your second sentence is unnecessary, but there should be one after "PPSM" in your first sentence. You have several remedial English classes to sit through before you could ever be capable of "getting my blood pressure up," dear. I sure hope you're pretty. |

FACT: People who aren't in rest homes don't get their news from TV. The fact you think cable ratings are significant means you are old and/or sad. |

MSNBC: Too Much Opinion and Not Enough News? http://variety.com/2013/biz/news/does-msnbc-lean-too-far-forward-1200570561/ ============================================= Liberal channels need to realize the Zimmerman trial slapped viewers in the face with reverse discrimination, it's still on going, showing his truck, telling what kind of tag it has? This has turned a lot of viewers away from the Sharpton channel. |

The difference is that most liberals are willing to admit MSNBC is slanted to the left. Can you freeptards ever admit that Fox is slanted to the right? Nope. One of a million indicators that we are smarter and more rational than you lot. |

Did you see Jeopardy when the answer to one of the questions was Rachel Maddow and they showed her picture? Not one of the three contestants rang in, was it because they really didn't know who she was or were to embarrassed to answer? Do you realize ABC, CBS, NBC, MSNBC, NPR are all liberal channels and CNN is liberal half of the time? That leaves one, get that one channel against six giving the conservative view, FOX and the libs begrudge that one channel because on cable they eat up MSNBC, CNN, NPR and spit them out. It's we report, you decide. |

1) You have absolutely no concept of what "liberal" means. The US has shifted so far to the scary right that what you consider "liberal" is actually center to center right. The Clintons and Obamas are actually right in the center where global politics are concerned. There are very few true liberals in the US, with the exception of people like Dennis Kucinich, who would never win on a national level. 2) I will possibly give you MSNBC, but American networks are owned by big money corporations that back Republicans. How you could have sat through anything from the Clinton years (all the "gates" to the Starr hearings) to Obama (Benghazi, NSA, the entirety of the 2012 election where everyone kissed Romney's ass) and declare all major stations to have a liberal slant shows you to be completely out of touch with reality. The big news stations in the US follow one thing: money. And, sorry toots, but that usually means worshiping corporations and Republicans. 3) You view BBC and NPR differently because it is actual news. They don't have all the bullshit punditry: they just deliver information as-is. And that's always going to seem liberal to you, because--guess what?--outside your US bubble and on the international stage (where those news entities operate), the world has proven time and again that your bullshit Libertarian/taxes suck/blame brown people, gays, and the poor for everything ideology does not work. Never has. Never will. And as someone above me said: most people under 50 get their news from the internet, so your little graphic is useless. Your way of life is dying, and your party's refusal to progress and grow has young people abandoning it in droves. Your party's insistence to beat the drum about the Benghazi non-issue and its continued attempts to nullify healthcare reform (which the majority of people want and is already proving to work) while doing absolutely zilch about jobs will be its downfall. It will be at least a generation before you take the White House back. And Repugs will have to shift Left to do it. Deal with it. |

Right wingers and their silly Persecution Complexes! MSNBC sells itself as appealing to progressive viewers. It makes no secret of its agenda. ABC, CBS, NBC, NPR and CNN just report the what happens (for the most part -- CNN has too much air to fill to no be reduced to foolish blather). But because those channels don't pander to your reality-free ideology, you think they are the problem, not you. They are not "liberal" just because they report a reality you find inconvenient. FoxNews is downright Orwellian. Not only does it not cop to being propaganda for the right wing, it pretends to be the only neutral source for news. And their (aged, angry) viewers are so brainwashed and paranoid of facts, they believe it! |

You find it strange that a porn site broke the news on someone flashing his love sausage at people? You really aren't getting the whole "people get their news online" angle here, are you? Because we've brought it up several times. |

Yes, I realize that the channels you mentioned are liberal especially MSNBC BUt Fox is conservative. As is talk radio? Name one f^&king liberal talk show host on talk radio? I agree that the left has dominated the media BUT the right wing with Fox and right wing talk radio has created its own niche. However Fox's motto should be we decide not report! They are just like the other channels only spewing proganda from the other side. |

Anyone who thinks ABC, CBS and NBS are the equivalent of FoxNews, only with a different agenda, doesn't pay enough attention to things to type about them. |
