They own/distribute many famous brands that sisters would recognize.

Bye that stock, girl! They almost have a monopoly on eyewear at this point.

I bought an 89 dollar pair of sunglasses and a 130 dollar pair awhile back, then one day I was in Target and saw a 17 dollar pair that caught my eye so I bought it. It's the only pair of sunglasses that people have commented on how sexy they look, so I'm not paying high dollar for name recognition again. I'm going to take the money I save and buy stock in Target.

Discuss!

I lose sunglasses on an almost daily basis, and refuse to spend more than $20-$30 for a pair.

When I used to ski a lot, I would think nothing of buying $350 Revos, but I would lose them or they would get stolen when my BF forgot to put the roof up on the car.

Now, I just wear a pair I bought at the airport for $20.

What airport has sunglasses for 20 dollars?

The airports I go to have a cup of coffee for about that amount.

You guys and your expensive non prescription sunglasses. I can't fathom paying more than $20.00 for a pair of sunglasses that probably cost no more than $5.00 to make, even the top of the line designer ones.

I pay less for prescription transition lenses every 2 years than I see some of the designer non prescription sunglasses sold for. There's something VERY wrong about that.

I'm with you, Tybee. It's a ridiculous thing to spend money on.

And to brag about it? How very nouveau riche.

Liz Bien seems to have a brain, as opposed to Miss PP.
(not surprising considering that most Lesbyterians are way smarter than most 'out' sissies!)

We bought the Ray Bans because they are polarized and when our husband saw them on us he disapproved and asked if we were trying to look like Grace Kelly in the 1950s!

I am amused by the way people justify spending $300 on cheap chunks of plastic assembled in China by eight-year-olds.

And that they think it makes them classy.

That's why Ornamentals are so industrious and self reliant - they learn the work-ethic early in life!

Referring to Asians as "Ornamentals": The very height of wit.

Move over, Dorothy Parker!
