We need to know. Are you just mentally challenged, or is this a "Daddy, please accept me!" thing? We promise to hold your answer in the strictest confidence. |

Hon, I've made it clear several times that I'm a PK. It should come as a shock to no one. |

I'm 38 years old, hold a degree in literature, and spent most of my 20s seeking and searching. I read many books on the issue, studied the bible (and uncovered untold amounts of bullshit and contradictions) extensively, and gradually transitioned from self-proclaimed "Christian Left," to agnostic, and finally to atheist--where I've now firmly stood for ten years. All to have a bunch of dicksnots on the internet insinuate I'm just whimsically rebelling like a spoiled teenager. Next time, try not to take something out of the very first page of the "How can I piss off the Atheist?" guidebook. Okay? |

I wasnt trying to piss you off. I dont know about your life. but you do seem like youre tryng to piss people off a lot f the time. especially about religion. you make fun of them and trash them becuase theyre not where you are now but you admit you went through a lot of different beliefs. that makes you look like you have childhood anger issues coming through. not saying it's not understandable to a degree. its just that i wonder how you would have reacted back then if someone like your current self had blasted you with belittling harsh insults |

I don't think his journey is over. And by that, I certainly don't mean to suggest that he will go back to Christianity. But it does seem that he is still coming to terms with some things from the past. It may be a cliche, but its only a cliche because it is so true: We all are marked by our childhood as adults. |

I bought your "Everyone I Know is Lactose Intolerant!" cookbook, Gwyneth! I felt so smug just holding it! |
