Perfect. Someone who looks as old as that silly show.

The character is 1000 years old, and shouldn't be played by a twentysomething.

How sad you are just to chime in that you don't like it.

The character isn't supposed to be hot, dear.

Not everything is a reality show about supermodels.

None of the original 7 were "hot" except maybe the 5th (Peter Davison).

If that matters to you, you're not smart enough to watch the show anyway.

People who watch silly trash like that show don't get to look down on other people.

People who think they have a right to put down fans--diverse fans of all ages, races, and walks of life from all over the globe--of a show that has been around for 50 years just because it happens to not be their own personal cup of tea are far more vile than anyone who watches Who.

Look, cunt, following me around just to trash my threads is over. It's soooo fucking over.

Find a new theme.

Those types of shows are for boys who never grew up.

Who else is excited it's an older actor with some gravitas?

You have made your point. You hate the show. And for some reason you lack the maturity to let it go and get out of a thread that doesn't interest you.

But Who fans are immature...allrighty.

I'm much more happy with Peter Capaldi than I was with Matt Smith.

I don't watch the show but Barrowman wasn't the last one? Was he let go because he's gay?

Ummm...no. None of that was a thing.

I remember him from one of my favorite movies, "Local Hero". If you haven't seen it you should rent it asap.

I will check that out, Tybee. I wonder if Netflix or Amazon Prime has it.

OMG. He was in Lair of the White Worm in the 80s. I knew I had seen him before Who.

That one is NOT worth seeing.

The name alone made me laugh though.

I don't use either of those services, but I can't imagine that they wouldn't have it.

Local Hero is currently not available on Netflix, but you can reserve it.
