Jesse Jackson Jr. and his wife Sandi will learn in a few hours how long they’ll spend in prison.

Jackson diverted congressional campaign money for his personal use.

His wife failed to report $600,000 in income.

Prosecutors want a 4-year prison sentence for Jackson, a year and a half for his wife.

This morning, Jackson may argue that his bipolar disorder entitles him to a light sentence.

Sentencing guidelines will be spelled out at 8:30 a.m. today in Washington.

The Jackson’s will appeal for leniency, and then a decision will be handed down.

If both get prison time, they’ll serve one at a time, so someone will be home to care for their children.

Throw the book at them!
You should throw both of yours at them. It's not as if you'll be reading them . . .

I wonder how many threads OP has started showing his indignation towards all those white Wall Street bankers who tanked the economy.

It's the message board equivalent of robo-calling.

The assistant head of the FBI in Washington Wednesday night says of Jesse and Sandi Jackson, "They can hide no more." For years, they hid lavish spending of campaign money, but the I-Team has learned that U.S. officials plan for the government to make money off of some of their purchases, auctioning off some of those Jackson treasures. At the same though, that very same government may also be paying ex-congressman Jackson monthly disability, and later, a pension.

First the pensions, for both Jacksons. They were public employees: his work for the federal government since being elected to Congress in 1995; her work for the City of Chicago since being elected alderman in 2007.

Neither should be able to collect a dime and that includes all that worked for the government and were convicted of a crime.
