While the post is still somewhat valid, the latest channel updates are more up-to-date:

---

I have the up-to-date list of upcoming games/LPs (I know for sure I'll play) in the Let's Play -page of my blog, but to get into bit of details...

Let's talk about 2013.

I'm thinking of changing things a bit. I'll be playing more games and have more LPs on-going at once.

Some games I'll play like I've done now - with daily updates, and some others with less frequent, like weekly updates.

I'm thinking I'll keep 1 "main LP" with daily updates (like XCOM, F3 now). If I have time and/or feel like playing other game more often, I might have more than one of daily LPs, but probably just one.

In addition to the 1 (or more) main LPs, I'll have other games I play in sessions and I'll post videos from that one session weekly.

XCOM:EU ends soon and I'll continue Fallout 3 as main/daily LP. I'll start TW: Medieval II and Civilization V with weekly sessions/updates and see how it goes. I'm thinking of playing a bit of Dark Souls as well and I'll have to see how often I post that.

When Fallout 3 is eventually finished, I'll look in what new main LP I'll start. I probably want break from Fallout, so Mass Effect trilogy might start then - and Fallout: New Vegas later when I feel like it.

If only I have time I'd like to squeeze new series of Skyrim Roleplay in there, possibly postponing ME and F:NV, because well, I haven't yet played through Skyrim and I'd really like to.

And if we need to wait too long for DayZ standalone, I'd like to record one more series for that one as well, but I don't know if I have the time for it. If/when there's playable DayZ standalone I can play, I'll play, but probably more when the game is more polished = late 2013/early 2014 maybe?

There's plenty of other games I'd like to play as well, including, but not limited to all the ones in the current future LPs survey: Baldur's Gate, Blade Runner, Company of Heroes, Deus Ex 1, Fallout 1, Jagged Alliance, JA2, L.A. Noire, Legend of Grimrock and UFO: Enemy Unknown (1994). I don't yet know what of those I'll LP and when I'll play'em, but there's games on that list I really want to play, so they're likely to be LPd sooner or later.

So what I know for sure I'll do:

  • Finish XCOM
  • Finish Fallout 3
  • Fallout 3 Broken Steel - Weekly, Wed/Fri
  • TW: Medieval II - Weekly, Tue/Thu
  • Dark Souls - Weekends
  • DayZ - Random, when I feel like it, while waiting for DayZ the Game
  • Wrap up Dwarf Fortress tuts
  • Wrap up X3TC (finally)
  • Civilization V - Weekly

Likely to start in the first half of 2013

  • Skyrim Roleplay, Series 2 (Will use Dragonborn, and wait for mods to get updated for that level)
  • Mass Effect Trilogy

Will play, but no idea when

  • DXHR: Missing Link DLC
  • Fallout: New Vegas
  • Other games in the current Future LPs survey
  • DayZ the Game, aka DayZ Standalone
  • M&B 2: Bannerlord (zero real info on when/where this'll come)

And I haven't looked that much into games coming in 2013...

So yeah, 48 hours a day isn't enough.

I'm so glad to see the Mass Effect series coming. In many ways ME2 is the best game I've ever played and I just know you will enjoy it.
Not looking forward to skyrim that much as I have not played the game myself, so don't want to spoil things. I own it, but the game just failed to grasp me... I'll give it some more time on the shelf.
Sad to hear that Xcom is coming to an end. Don't you consider season 3 with the DLCs?

Anyway, have a great New Year!

2013 sounds like it will be a great year! I loved the M&B series you did, so I hope M&B 2 comes fast. I also can't wait for Civilization, that's always a fun one! Even Dark Souls should be good, as you could role play it well (if you want to) as well as it's an all around hard game, you might inspire me to give it a fair go again, as I rage quit from it twice. I am glad you are going to continue to amuse people with your LP's, and I'm excited to see what you have in store for us, Happy New Years!

im really lookimg forward to the mass effect trilogy! such nice games! games like UFO:enemy unknown arent very long i think, i played it myself and its not that long (9 hours of gameplay). the upcoming LP games are all cool and what love in your LPs is that you play them on hard (or insane/impossible). for example XCOM on impossible! thats very very very hard xD. i was playing it at classic and i got my ass eooped cause all the floaters just are one shotting my troops xD. Good luck with your future games and a very happy 2013!!

I have thought about it, but I haven't decided yet.

Most likely a stealthy character, hunter-like, possibly a thief.

But whatever I choose, I won't stick strictly to the "class" like I did with Yngvarr (I more and less only used magic skills).

Hey Zemalf. Love the LP's and especially your style of play.

I was wondering how likely you are to play L.A. Noire, and if you've played it before. It would be great to watch you solving crimes blind. I think it would fit your LP style. Really hope it gets included in the rotation.

I'm glad to hear you'll probably be an Infiltrator in Mass Effect. I was a vanguard and engineer in my playthroughs (one paragon, one renegade), so it will be good to see what stealthy snipery gameplay is like. Have you decided what difficulty you'll be playing on? ME2 on Veteran was pretty tough for me and there's two more difficulties higher than that, I think.
