My wishlist of things that I believe need to happen in ZT2. Some of it's reasonable, some of it might be repetitive (nirvana, though), and some of it probably uncalled for. Animals
Objects
That's all I can think of for now. I'll try to come up with more obscure stuffs that zoos should have that would ultimately help me attain total ZT2 nirvana. Edited by Bebopgroove, 8 Aug 2014, 03:47.

I would love to see the Thylacine in my game too. I had a remake of it, but to me it wasn't realistic enough. And i agree, we need more tigers, because they are awesome. I only got 2. |

I originally had UT's thylacine, which I love the color variants and fur texture. But the paws were too canine-like and ears too simple. And there was a bizarre teeth glitch with the gaping animation, as well as the model being huge compared to the staff models. Tyranachu's thylacine is pretty good, though it uses a fox model, which, while the thylacine resembles a canid, I wouldn't say it looks like a fox. The stripes should be sharper and more bold, and I tried to edit them for myself, but they only looked decent when zoomed in with the in-game camera (then there's the issue with the tail, but as far as the model goes, that was the best that could be done with that). There's a "better" reskin of BF's thylacine (Aim's reskin); I added some adjustments to the snout color, but there's the problem with it being a BF model and slightly caricatured. JF's thylacine is probably the best bet, but who knows if or when that will see the light of day, though there's something "off" about the head-on view of it. I'm way too picky.. and there's nothing really wrong with what's out there, but I'm anal about details, and I wish I had the skills to create a model, and rig, and code. I tried my hand at skinning, and there's alot that goes into making skins that I just fail to grasp (like making the skins appear sharp in-game; mine blur out from a distance). But yeah, that's my two-cents. I'm not bashing anyone at all; the thylacine is actually a difficult animal to recreate realistically.

My god, your object ideas would be brilliant. I've actually had a few ideas for making customizable restaurants that you could actually enter, but I'm not sure if it'd be possible with ZT2. Maybe I should kick my butt into gear and actually start designing... |
