Anything from the pre-Cambrian period fascinates me. How did these things live? What are their closest relatives? What would have happened if these animals survived instead of died out?- Like how would had evolution changed?

My favorite Paleozoic species include Arthropleura, Meganeura, Dimetrodon, and Placerias.

From the Mesozoic, most of the pterosaurs suffice, but my favorites would have to be Quetzalcoatlus, Pteranodon, and Ornithocheirus.

The woolly mammoth, Smilodon, Phorusrhacos, and Entelodon are among my favorite Cenozoic species.

I'm a sucker for birds! Terror birds and dodo birds, to be precise. Birds, man. Gotta love 'em.
