Considering Being a Leader.....; Thoughts and Ideas

I was giving thought on Leadership. I hope the Elders would read and maybe put in their Ideas.
This would be for clan mates being considered for leadership roles in Agape. So, say for instance. We ask them if they would like to be a leader or consider it. We would ask them to first come here and read what leadership means to us, and what this clan expects out of its leadership. For it is true that we all have different skills of life, and we all bring different strengths to the table. For instance, We all know Lion is a great leader. She and farrah are wonderful at recruiting people. Gold n dragon is wonderful at the citadel. Divine rules and format. As for me and C2c, we're the peacekeepers and reading between the lines, etc etc.

The point of this is we will always only be as strong as our weakest link. So, I think that in all fairness, we should ask members what they would like to do when a wonderful clan mate comes along. Lord knows we never want to go back to the way it was in HTTL.

So, below are just some of my Ideas I would like to share with Leaders, and maybe hear your feedback. It will be called I guess as follows

.......................................................Considering being a leader...................................................................

1) Must be willing to follow all rules of Agape.
2) Please, always remember that as you are called to be a leader, leadership is to serve.
3) Always act like a leader. Agape means a fellowship of christians, an unconditional love. And that's what this is - a love for a game and people.
4) Sometimes people slip up not meaning to. So if someone breaks the rules, remember life is about 2nd and sometimes 3rd chances. We have always said we are a forgiving clan. Use clarity in your decisions on enforcing the rules.
5) Some of our members are young. this might mean they need a little more help. It also means they need to learn to do for themselves. Help when you can, but, always remember to have a balance. Meaning you are not a babysitter. You log in to get to play too, so, you don't have to answer every single question. This is your choice. We elders don't want you to work yourself to death. Agape is about having fun. No forcing anyone to do anything.
6) Make sure there is a balance in your life. There is no reason to believe that elders will demote you for your absence. A leader will only be demoted if they do not show leadership.

A lion was stalking through a jungle looking for trouble. Seeking to pick a fight with a passing tiger, he grabbed the tiger's tail and demanded, "who is the king of the jungle?"
The tiger answered meekly, "You are, O mighty lion."
Next, the lion grabbed a monkey, asking, "Who do you say is the king of the jungle?"
"You, O mighty lion," the monkey humbly replied.
Then the lion met an elephant and asked, "Who is the king of the jungle?"
The elephant grabbed him with his trunk, whirled him around, and threw him up against a tree, leaving him bleeding and broken.
The lion got up slowly and licking his wounds, addressed the elephant:
"Just because you don't know the answer is no reason to be so rough."

Being in charge, and remaining so, requires more "people skills" than many people have.
As you know our leader "Lion Grrrl" is nothing like the lion in this story.
She builds cooperative relationships rather than to rule as dictator.
If you desire to be a leader, follow her example and you will be a true leader!
