"How...how do I mount it?" Alek reached out to stroke the horse's mane, feeling a strange sort of pride in having chosen him all by herself. "Cheilinus...you'll be like my brother from the sea." She wasn't paying any more attention to anything else, to busy priding herself over her awesome new horse. Spoiler: click to toggle

Elita sighed and pointed to the stirrups. "Slide your right foot into that, then lift yourself up, using the saddle. Just climb up." She led Rain around Alek and her horse, checking out the new addition to their group. Terrance came out only a few moments later, carrying a tied up sack. "H-Here." He handed it to Sorai since he happened to be the closest. Inside there was an assortment of food; three apples, four pears, three peaches, half a loaf of bread, a few helpings of beef jerky, and a bag of mixed nuts. "Alright. Thank you." Elita smiled at the man, "Let's get going Alek!" |

After inspecting the goods - and the produce - Sorai turned his horse around and started back toward the main trail. The sack hung over his shoulder in a position more dramatic than comfortable. "Cheilinus it is," he said to Excalibur. "I expect you to welcome your new brother in arms with... Well, open arms, Excalibur." The horse broke into a light canter as they made their way down the farmer's dirt path, kicking up dust in their wake. The majority of the day had already slipped away, but it all served a greater purpose, one step toward the initiation of a new Author. |

Elita followed after Sorai, and watched Alek trail after them. She was riding slow, but was close enough that it was alright with Elita if she stayed behind. From where she was, Sorai's back was to her. She felt a little odd now, knowing that it was no longer just the two of them. Immediately, Elita shook the thoughts from her mind, but her eyes stayed locked on Sorai, staying silent as she thought to herself. |

Rewards Sorai reaches level 12, gaining three attribute points and two ability points. Aleksandra reaches level 4, gaining three attribute points and one ability point. She obtains ownership papers for Cheilinus. |
