I’m not going to paste the whole article, it’s by Roger Friedman, her friend from Fox News, and overall, pretty positive.

Madonna’s New Album Leaked to Internet
  • Madonna's new album, "Confessions on a Dance Floor," has been leaked onto the Internet 10 days before its official release.

The album is marked by a defiant self-defense of her whole career, when she sings on the hilarious and forceful "Like It or Not": "You can call me a sinner/you can call me a saint/Celebrate for who I am/Don't like me for what I ain't/Don't put me up on a pedestal/Or drag me down in the dirt/Sticks and stones will break my bones/But your names will never hurt."

And: "Better the devil that you know/This is who I am/You can like it or not/You can love me or leave me/Because I'm never gonna stop. Oh no." She compares herself to Mata Hari and Cleopatra, too.

Warner Music Group is said to not be very happy about the leak. "Confessions" was being held right until the last minute. Copies aren't even available at the record company's offices yet.

All I can say - the less money she makes from this - the better!

I second that.

On the other hand, I wouldn't be surprised if Grandma-donna's new CD was leaked accidentally on purpose, if you know what I mean. It could've been some kind of publicity gimmick, I don't know.

For some odd reason, I'm reminded of that god-awful song by Ashlee Simpson called "Lala". "You can dress me up in diamonds / You can dress me up in dirt / You can throw me like a lineman / I like it better when it hurts."

Warner Music Group is said to not be very happy about the leak. "Confessions" was being held right until the last minute. Copies aren't even available at the record company's offices yet.

I have the leaked songs if anyone is interested. I think it's her worse album to date. She keeps using the same type of music throughout all three albums and the fans are running in droves because she alienating all of them! They want the old Madonna back not old in age as she is now but her pop music not this Mirwais Ahmandzai crap! I liked Madonna in the 80ty's not now! How Sad!

I agree. Unfortunately, I think this leak may help sales instead of hinder them. I guess we can all wait until it's official release for sale numbers.

~ EDIT below ~

Hmm, but some article will have us believe that Madonna is so furious that the CD was leaked...

Maybe it's true, and she is, but I swear something seems fishy about this.

I just have a feeling that she'd be furious if this publicity drivel about her CD being leaked had not been leaked to the press, more upset over that than an alleged fan-boy leak of her CD.
  • Madonna album leaked
And she ain't very happy about it

Madonna's new album 'Confessions On A Dancefloor' has been leaked on the internet, according to reports.

The Queen Of Pop is believed to have been left fuming when the LP found its way on the internet a week before its official release, reports The Sun.

Madonna has gone to great lengths to keep the album on a tight leash before its official release date on November 14.

Even promo copies have been blocked for review.

The singer has been one of the strongest opponents of music piracy in recent years.

When fans tried to illegally download tracks from her last album 'American Life' she tried to block their attempts by posting fake tracks on illegal networks.

Her first single 'Hung Up' is out today (November 7).
~ EDIT ~

Madonna Protects Album - Contact Music

Madonna turns maniacal to prevent her CD from piracy!

Madonna Protects Album - TeenMusic.com

Her CD was sent in "under armed guard." Oh puh-leeze. :rolleyes2:

From Contact Music:
  • MADONNA went to extraordinary lengths to protect her new album at a top secret media preview this week (08NOV05), by making sure the CD was destroyed after it was played.

CONFESSIONS ON A DANCEFLOOR was played in full at a release party in Hollywood, Florida, on Tuesday night, before an audience of journalists, reviewers and record executives, ahead of it's release next week (begs14NOV05).

According to US TV show The Insider, a CD was flown into the state's Fort Lauderdale airport under armed guard. It was then picked up by Madonna's brother CHRISTOPHER CICCONE who handed it in person to DJ TRACY YOUNG, who played the LP at the party at the Pangaea nightclub.

The CD was reportedly destroyed after the party to make sure it didn't fall into the wrong hands.

I can believe it. See, if it's leaked, and it stinks, it won't sell well upon release. If no one gets to hear any of it, people will be more apt to buy it, THEN if they're disappointed, who cares, she's got her money.

Shut up, hag. You & your tribe leaked it. No sympathy for your "broken heart" when you're usually the troublemaker.

Did you have your own iPod stomping hissy fit, or did you hire some dumb hot young man to do it?

haha...she is sooo desperate to generate some kind of hype about what will likely be another flaming turd of a recording...I couldn't bring myself to listen to the leaked clips, but I've read where people have said her vocals sound terrible...maybe she thought she'd be all realz by leaking unretouched vocals, but even a lot of the stans don't seem all that impressed...

I predict this will be her FINAL album of new material before finally caving to oldies act status.

She actually refers to herself as "an artist." She's an entertainer, not an artist.

Count me among those of you who believe her music was accidentally- on- purpose- leaked, to get attention.

She always envisioned herself as an artist in the vein of Martha Graham, Isadora Duncan, as well as scads of writers & painters. She certainly is starving herself to be like one, as per those Interview photos. And don't forget she's been quite the muse to plenty from Basquiat on down.

That said, she's taken herself too seriously much too often, even if her admirers think she just has a terrific sense of irony.

I'm listening to two of the leaked tracks, both produced by Swedish musician Avicii. The song "Rebel Heart" is done entirely in his style, and it doesn't come across as original. Rather, it seems like an Avicii song featuring Madonna.

Madonna is just chasing trends at this point. Also, in the song she mentions "not being that kind of girl" and I'm thinking, "you haven't been a girl for forty years now."

Madonna slammed for comparing album leak to 'rape' and 'terrorism'... days after Pakistan school massacre and Sydney hostage killings

Madonna Says Leaked Album Is Actually 'Unfinished Demos Stolen Long Ago'

Madonna's entire album leaks — before she announces it
  • Thirteen songs purportedly from Madonna's newest album, which doesn't have a title yet (Contenders include Unapologetic b***h and Iconic), have leaked to the internet, according to gossip site Oh No They Didn't. Producers on the album reportedly included Aviici, Natalia Kills, Diplo, and Ryan Tedder.

According to Madonna, though, the leaks are "unfinished demos stolen long ago and not ready to be presented to the world."

At least, that's what she said on Instagram. She followed up with an Instagram post that deemed the leaks "artistic rape," and said — sic, obviously — "These are early leaked demo's half of which wont even make it on my album the other half have changed and evolved. This is a form of terrorism."

I am of the opinion that rape is rape and terrorism is terrorism; the leaks are just intellectual property theft. No matter how hurt she may feel, conflating these things is not especially helpful.
Madonna Dismisses New Album Leak As 'Unfinished Demos Stolen Long Ago'

Regarding the first link, "Madonna slammed for comparing album leak to 'rape' and 'terrorism'... days after Pakistan school massacre and Sydney hostage killings"

I don't recall which thread this was in, but didn't she get into trouble shortly after the Colorado movie theater shootings a few years ago? She included gun play in her tour at that time, around the time some lunatic shot people at a screening of "Bat Man Dark Knight Rises". The timing was insensitive.

I think using the word "rape" to describe anything but an actual rape, as Madonna did on the internet in regards to her album being leaked (which she probably did herself to get free PR) is a huge insult to sexual assault victims.

She used the phrase "artistic rape" or something. The woman is not an artist, she is an entertainer. She does not even create the majority of her image or music, she either copies off other people or hires song writers/producers to make her tracks for her.

She also used the phrase "artistic process." - what process? Again, all she does is rip off the ideas of other genuinely creative people, or she hires people to make her songs for her.

Madonna slammed for comparing album leak to 'rape' and 'terrorism'... days after Pakistan school massacre and Sydney hostage killings
  • By JOHN LOPEZ FOR MAILONLINE
    PUBLISHED: 12:32 EST, 17 December 2014

t was a horrific week with the deadly hostage crisis in Sydney and the devastating Taliban school massacre in Pakistan.

So it seemed particularly insensitive when Madonna likened the leak of her upcoming album to a 'form of terrorism.'

Angered fans took to Twitter to lash out at the Material Girl who also referred to the theft of her 'unfinished demos' as 'artistic rape.'

'How appropriate do you think it is to refer to the theft of your music as "terrorism" days after 132 children are massacred!?,' wrote @Merr1ngton.

A fan who goes by @TrannaWintour added: 'Madonna has called the theft of her demos a form of "rape" and "terrorism." Her hysteria and ignorance know no bounds.'

@DustinAndrew chimed in saying: 'Ooook I have a prblm w/ @Madonna claiming the leaks are a form of 'TERRORISM' Really? There are ppl dying. Get a clue.'

The criticism comes on the heels of the Queen of Pop's overly dramatic comparisons on social media after an early version of her 13th studio album surfaced on the Internet on Wednesday.

'This is artistic rape!!,' Madonna cried out in an Instagram post that has since been taken down.
'These are early leaked demo's half of which wont even make it on my album the other half have changed and evolved.

'This is a form of terrorism. Wtf!!!! Why do people want to destroy artistic process??? Why steal? Why not give me the opportunity to finish and give you my very best?'

Earlier in the day, Madonna took a gentler approach by reaching out to her legions of fans in a more appreciative manner in the aftermath of the album leak.

''Thank you for not listening! Thank you for your loyalty!,' the Vogue hitmaker said.

'Thank you for waiting and if you have heard please know they are unfinished demos stolen long ago and not ready to be presented to the world.'

A total of 11 songs surfaced, including tracks b***h I'm Madonna, Joan Of Arc, Illuminati and Messiah.

While Madonna had yet to announce an official title and release date, the album is allegedly called Unapologetic b***h - which is one of her favourite hashtags - or Iconic.

The Hung Up singer has been working with a treasure trove of the hottest producers and songwriters including Diplo, Avicii, Natalia Kills and Simon Cowell's favourite hitmaker Ryan Tedder.
The full album leak comes just weeks after the two tracks Rebel Heart and Wash All Over Me hit the Internet.

At that time Madge's manager Guy Oseary took to Twitter in an attempt to find the culprits by writing: 'I would be grateful to any @madonna fans that can assist us in finding those responsible for the leak.. We appreciate your help..'

On Tuesday, the Taliban attacked a school in the Pakistani city of Peshawar killing over 132 children and nine staff members.

It was the country's deadliest terror attack ever.

This horrific incident followed just two days after a lone gunmen held patrons of a local Sydney cafe hostage for nearly 16 hours, leading to a standoff with police.

In the end, two hostages and the suspect were killed after authorities stormed the restaurant.

There are more articles about how people are critical over her comparing the leak to rape and terrorism.

If Madonna is so brave and doesn't care about what people think about her, as some journalists like to say about her - and her fans find this a bragging point - why did Madonna delete the tweet or instagram post where she made the rape/terrorism quotes? Because these articles say she later deleted the post.

Madonna criticized for furious rant

Madonna Compares Album Leak To “Rape” And “Terrorism”
  • Madonna compared the leak of her upcoming album to “rape” and “terrorism” on Wednesday in a controversial Instagram post that has since been deleted. After 13 of the “unfinished” songs hit the Internet, the singer took to social medial to respond. “Thank you for not listening!” Madonna wrote on Instagram. “Thank you for your loyalty! Thank you for waiting and if you have heard please know they are unfinished demos stolen long ago and not ready to be presented to the world.”

Madonna, who has yet to announce the official title and release date for the album, followed up her previous Instagram post with a more controversial message. “This is artistic rape!!” she wrote. “These are early leaked demo’s half of which wont even make it on my album the other half have changed and evolved. This is a form of terrorism. Wtf!!!! Why do people want to destroy artistic process???” she asked. “Why steal? Why not give me the opportunity to finish and give you my very best?”

Fans took to social media to blast the pop star for her post. “@Madonna how appropriate do you think it is to refer to the theft of your music as ‘terrorism’ days after 132 children are massacred!?” one person wrote, referencing the Taliban’s attack on a school in Pakistan.

Someone else tweeted, “You know what else is like rape, Madonna? Nothing. Nothing is like rape. Shut up.” Another noted, “How dare @madonna compare a leaked album to ‘rape or terrorism’. Silly cow. It’s theft and wrong but hardly the same.” What do you think of Madonna’s Instagram post?
Madonna Calls Her Album Leak "Artistic Rape" and "A Form of Terrorism"
  • Yeah, that didn't go over well.

It's been two years since the Material Girl came out with an album, and fans were clamoring for any details about new music. She's reportedly been in the studio with collaborators like Avicii and Diplo for months now. So when early demos of her new music leaked online, she went off the rails.

"This is artistic rape!!!," she wrote on Instagram. "These are early leaked demo's half of which wont even make it on my album the other have changed and evolved. This is a form of terrorism. Wtf!!!"

She immediately was met with outcry from fans, especially since the tweets have come after terrorist attacks in Australia and Pakistan. The post has since been taken down, but the Daily Mail grabbed a screenshot:

She has since posted another Instagram message to her followers. "Thank you for not listening! Thank you for your loyalty!" she wrote in the caption. "Thank you for waiting and if you have heard please know they are unfinished demos stolen long ago and not ready to be presented to the world."

Madonna new music leak is 'form of terrorism' says singer

Fans hit back at Madonna's 'artistic rape' comment
  • Dec 18, 2014

Madonna has attracted criticism after calling the leak of her upcoming album "artistic rape".

The 56-year-old singer posted a furious rant on Instagram on Wednesday shortly after an unfinished edition of her yet-to-be-announced 2015 album appeared online, but was slammed by some fans on Twitter for comparing the incident to a "form of terrorism."

One fan tweeted: "Madonna has called the theft of her demos a form of 'rape' and 'terrorism.' Her hysteria and ignorance know no bounds."

According to MailOnline, another user posted: "Ooook I have a prblm w/ @Madonna claiming the leaks are a form of 'TERRORISM' Really? There are ppl dying. Get a clue (sic)."

The comments came hours after the 'Hung Up' hitmaker posted and deleted the following message on Instagram: "This is artistic rape!! These are early leaked demo's half of which wont even make it on my album the other half have changed and evolved. This is a form of terrorism. Wtf!!!! Why do people want to destroy artistic process??? Why steal? Why not give me the opportunity to finish and give you my very best? (sic)"

She also urged her fans not to download the unauthorised music, writing: "Thank you for not listening! Thank you for your loyalty!"
Madonna mocked for comparing her album leak to ‘rape’ and ‘terrorism’
  • By Cheryl K. Chumley - The Washington Times - Thursday, December 18, 2014
Aging musical legend Madonna irked many in and outside of her fan base by taking to social media to slam the leak of her upcoming album as a “form of terrorism” — against a backdrop of Taliban terrorist attack that killed more than 100 students in Pakistan.

The Material Girl wrote on Instagram of her leaked demo, the Daily Mail reported: “This is artistic rape! These are early leaked demo’s half of which won’t even make it on my album the other half have changed and evolved. This is a form of terrorism. Wtf!!!! Why do people want to destroy artistic process??? Why steal? Why not give me the opportunity to finish and give you my very best?”

The response to her post was swift.

“How appropriate do you think it is to refer to the theft of you music as ‘terrorism’ days after 132 children are massacred!?” tweeted one, the Daily mail reported.

And another wrote: “Madonna has called the theft of her demos a form of ‘rape’ and ‘terrorism.’ Her hysteria and ignorance know no bounds.”

And one more: “Ooook I have a prblm w/ @Madonna claiming the leaks are a form or ‘TERRORISM’ Really? There are ppl dying. Get a clue.”

Madonna’s post has since been taken down, the Daily Mail reported.
This is from a left wing, secular feminist site, and they seem upset with Madonna

Madonna Claims Leaked New Album Is 'Artistic Rape,' 'Terrorism'

  • by Isha Aran
    Sit down, Madonna.

In an age of nude photo scandals and enormous Sony hacks, an album leaking onto the internet seems like an unfortunately normal thing to happen in the industry. Hell, people leak their own albums if they think it will drum up some hype. But for Madonna, whose unfinished upcoming album appeared online today, this was an act of terrorism, goddammit.

11 tracks from the album tentatively titled Iconic have been released, and while Madonna thanked her fans earlier today for not listening to the tracks which she stated are "unfinished demos stolen long ago," she later posted a much angrier Instagram, which has since been deleted:

[screen cap of Madonna comment comparing leak to rape and terrorism]

Listen. I can imagine that it's very frustrating to have an unfinished work revealed, particularly as a perfectionist. But rape? No. Never. That is not rape. It's not artistic rape. Not symbolic rape. Just, no. A couple weeks ago she posted this:

    (broken mp3 player or phone)

This broken ipod is a symbol of my broken heart! That my music has been stolen and leaked! I have been violated as a human and an artist! #f-ckedupsh-t

So I'm not exactly stoked on her idea of symbolism anyway. Sorry Madonna: your album leaking is not a human rights travesty.

And as for the terrorism, LOL. Yesterday, Pakistan endured the deadliest terrorist attack in its history (Madonna posted about it herself). I shouldn't have to f.cking say this but Madonna's 13th unfinished album leaking early is not a form of terrorism.

Honestly, it kind of just feels like Madonna googled the biggest buzzwords and vomited them on Instagram. Rape. Terrorism. I'm surprised she didn't include something about selfies, vapes, and I dunno, "me mum's car?"
