:puke3: This was on madonnalicious.com (view photo of milk carton here - at least they used only a drawing of Madonna on the carton and not a photograph),
  • Get some Madonna with your milk in Sweden
Posted: 04 March 2006 - Thanks to Wilma

Rather strangely Madonna and the history of her hairstyles are adorning selected cartons of milk in Sweden! Here is the translation of the feature:
    ---------------------------------
Madonna is the most famous female star in history. During her career she has had many different clothes styles and hairdos.

While she was a teenager in Bay City, Michigan, she cut her hair short and it stood right up. Later in New York she put olive oil in it and used ballet tights as a hairband. After her breakthrough in 1984 began her fans began to copy her hairstyle - the short bob blonde hair with dark roots.

When she introduced her long blond ponytail in 1990 she was a superstar. The inspiration for this haird? It came from a make-up doll with hair you could pull out.

Popstars have a big influence on the world in different ways, not only with their music. By being seen in a newspaper, magazines and television it is THE example for young people. Hair is the most important accessory for a popstar - in the pop industry you can find the most fantastic hairstyles ever.

Again, they want us to think Skank is the only one who has done...anything. Since I've been alive, my hair has been every color, short, spiked, long, bobbypinned, curly-permed, pony-tailed, feathered, bobbed, bangs, no bangs, etc.
Like every other woman I know. Put me on a milk carton.

 Yeah, I think that's true of most women - most women experiment with their hair a lot.

I've only done so a little bit, maybe not as much as most women.

I've tried it very short, medium length, layered, one length (as opposed to layered), I've put blonde high lights in it, I've dyed it auburn, I've tried perms (for waves), I've tried wearing it straight (sometimes up in a pony tail, sometimes down), etc.

My sister is probably one of the only women I know of who basically never changes her hair style: very, very long, straight, and in a pony tail. She's had that hair style for years. When she was a teen, though (this was in the 1970s), she did layer the bangs/sides a little bit, so her hair looked a little like Madonna's current Farrah hair style.

One day when Lourdes and Rocco wake up and become absolutely frightened of their mom, they may run away, and their photos will have to be placed on a milk cartoon: "Have you seen these children?"

Milk usually contains Vitamin D. I bet this "Madonna milk" contains cooties. :bio: :crab:

Any news reports on the milk inside the Madonna cartons curdling?

Celebrity faces on stamps, on milk cartons...is there any possibility of getting Madonna's face on the bag of cow manure? Gardening season is soon upon us so get cracking on the publicity blitz, Liz!

I thought the same thing, LOL!
Maybe in Sweden it's a custom to put lost souls on milk cartons?

*trying to sound convincing*
Mmmmm, Madonna cookies, Mmmmm.

The company is trying to come up with mottos for the cookies (not really, I just thought this would be fun):

"A real Madonna cootie in every ooey, gooey, fresh- from- the- oven cookie"

What was the "Chips Ahoy" old marketing gimmick from the 1970s or 1980s? Wasn't it something like, "Guaranteed, 20 Chocolate Chips in every cookie!," -?

Place some kind of Madonna related put-down or innuendo in place of "20 chocolate chips," and there you go!

Someone, please make some kind of joke about Ernie, the little elves in a tree, and the Madonna cookies. There is a joke in there somewhere, but my mind is blank at the moment (it's not blank all the time, really).

  • Fancy Madonna with your cup of tea?
    Posted: 27 March 2006

Fancy some tea and biscuits....then why not have some Madonnas biscuits? madonnalicious visitor John has sent this picture in of the biscuits which are available in Ireland.
Re: "Fancy Madonna with your cup of tea?" That sounds kind of dirty.

Anyway, the answer is no, I don't fancy Madonna with, in, around, near, over, under, by, _(insert all other prepositional phrases here)_ my tea.

Did you mean testosterone (sp?). If she actually had estrogen, I'd imagine she'd actually look / act / be feminine.

I bet you're right about the cheap labor. She also probably molests the Keebler elves, and the elves are told that's a "fringe benefit" of working for The Venereal Girl.

And the poor elves can't get her for sexual harassment, since they are illegal immigrants and could be deported - but that's another topic.

Anyway, remember the Like A Prayer - Pepsi fiasco in the late 1980s? Remember the Pepsi cans that came out with her picture on them?

I can't remember if we ever got any of those or not. In the early '80s, my dad came home with the promotional Empire Strikes Back Pepsi cans (or maybe they were from Return of the Jedi, don't recall exactly which), that had Yoda on them.

To refresh your memory, here are some images of the Pepsi cans, from "madonnalicious.com"

According to madonnalicious,
  • Pepsi promotional cans
Posted: 16 April 2006 - Thanks to BACH

Back in 1989 Madonna produced an advert for Pepsi, however when Madonna's controversial video came out for Like A Prayer the drinks company pulled the advert off air and their removed their sponsorship for a Like A Prayer world tour.

The drink cans pictured below are one of the few items left from the Madonna/Pepsi collaboration, and just think if the collaboration remained we would have had a Like A Prayer world tour instead of Blond Ambition tour in 1990!
Oh wow. A Like A Prayer tour rather than the Blonde Ambition tour. I'm so sad that didn't happen. :rolleyes2:

  • As everyone left, they were handed a Hard Candy goodie bag which contained copies of Dazed and Confused, Elle, Q and Vanity Fair (May editions with the Madonna covers), a set of four Hard Candy collectors postcards, candy canes, a Hard Candy lollypop and some Madonna Hard Candy's which would spell out her name and the album title if you dared open the packet!

My hair color is black and I have currently decided to be permed. I love my perm it's so soft and woolly. I've been called a pom pom, a poodle and the black sheep of the family. My curls are also very tight just the way I like them. My hair is naturally straight but I prefer the curls.
PS I wouldn't want to eat something with Madonna's face I'm just not interested in her anymore.

The hot pink and white label look as cheap as the alphabet candy. Reminds me of those nasty Spongebob candy pieces I bought from wallmart ages ago.

Before anybody eats that stuff, was there any clearance from the food and drug administration. Is there any seal on it, safety for consumption? Need to take the goods through the X-ray.
A thorough investigation be made, a sample be taken to the food labs to realize the authenticity of the ingredients. You never know the materials used to make the products could be recycled, made from other people's products?
Or maybe the stuff is expired and new labels put on them, hence she gives it away for free.
The hag wouldn't dare give anything free would she? There got to be an ulterior motive for this.

Well summer is full swing over here I just had my ice cream dolly suits better than any of hags sweet treats. Not for me!
