A three page article, her fans will go running to the place to buy the stuff I bet. The 2nd page didn't open for me.

Like star-quality wine? Try sipping 'Madonna' in Michigan:puke:

LAKE MICHIGAN - It was uncannily quiet as I entered the unlocked hilltop villa at the entrance to Tony Ciccone's vineyard and winery. At the long bar, I was soon sipping a glass of buttery, slightly oaky chardonnay, poured by Danielle Kelly, the "wine-tasting girl" from Leland village on the shores of Lake Michigan.

Behind her was a framed portrait of Tony's daughter, Madonna, and several bottles of "limited edition" Madonna wine, and reflected in the long mirror was a cross fixed on the wall.

Tony was helping with the harvest in his 80-acre estate. "Mario, her youngest brother, works here," Kelly added helpfully. He was also helping with the harvest.... It was just Kelly, the long bar, and me. ......................................

......................................"Madonna comes about once a year," Kelly said of the pop megastar. "She's been in the past and served [customers]."

Better watch out for the ingredients now, might be toxic to drink now. :bio:

Madonna invests 937,000 pounds in coconut water manufacturing firm

London, Feb 2 : Queen of pop Madonna has invested 937,000 pounds in a coconut water manufacturing firm after she fell in love with the drink during her Sticky and Sweet world tour.

Madonna, 51, along with her manager Guy Oseary, snapped up shares of New York-based company Vita Coco, which sells the latest trendy beverage across the U.S.

And they are so taken with the juice made from young, green coconuts that they have rounded up stars including Matthew McConaughey, Demi Moore, and Red Hot Chili Peppers frontman Anthony Kiedis to maker smaller investments.

Madge, who is famed for her strict healthy lifestyle, reportedly made the coconut juice her favourite thirst-quencher while performing on her tour last year, and she was keen to get involved with the brand before it hit the mainstream.

"The fact that (the manufacturers) are saying no to everyone who wants them is pretty cool. You want to go to the party that no one else is invited to," the Daily Star quoted Oseary as saying.

MADONNA - MADONNA INVESTS IN JUICE COMPANY

Someone says he will never buy her stuff.

Madonna The Queen of Fads Goes Nuts Over Coconut Water

"Madonna has become so nuts for coconut water that she recently invested about $1.5 million in one of the leading makers of the drink, which has taken Hollywood and The Big Apple by storm, The Post has learned.

Madonna is so enthusiastic about coconut water -- the clear juice from young, green coconuts, not the brown coconuts that have a milky liquid center -- that she drank fresh coconut juice daily on the overseas leg of the Sticky & Sweet tour. There is also talk that she might make a follow-up investment."Read more

Madonna has always been all about style over substance, and it comes as no surprise that the Material Girl has never met a fad or a trend that she didn't like.

Madonna discarded the staid and boring Catholicism of her youth for the hot and trendy religion of Kabbalah. Madge doesn't dress like the 51-year-old woman that she is, instead she dons the trendy outfits of a school girl.

Regular bottled water is to passe for the pop diva, she has embraced coconut water as her drink of choice. I have never tasted coconut water, in fact I just found out about it when I read the New York Post article. But knowing that Madonna has invested in coconut water guarantees that I will never buy a bottle of the stuff.

It took 50 years to realize the coconut water taste, she was always having her cocktail of drugs drink back at the Manhattan days.

Exactly what Mhater said. Pathetic how they compliment the HAG in the article she looks like a zombie, her skin resembles beef jerky.
Coconut water certainly will not give you any youth, bunch of bologna.

Madonna Really Likes Her Belvedere Vodka

Madonna was on-hand at the new exclusive club, Soho House, in Los Angeles, but threw a hissy fit of epic proportions when she didn’t get her vodka of choice.

It’s like when you’re at a restaurant and you ask for Pepsi, but they say, “Will Coke be okay?” and you’re like “Sure”, because who the heck are you? With Madge, it’s a little bit different. She expects you to say, “We don’t have Coke, but we’ll dispatch one of our lackeys to the place down the street to fetch you a bottle.”

Earlier in the evening, Madonna was at Elton John’s pre-Oscars party when she snipped at the host for not carrying her favorite vodka, Belvedere. The party was sponsored by Grey Goose, but she was having none of that.

A source said, “Madonna walked in with her manager Guy Oseary and her entourage and ordered a Belvedere vodka. It was left to one rather nervous waiter to tell her only Grey Goose was available and when he did all hell broke loose. Madonna was dropping F-bombs like they were going out of fashion. Fortunately Guy was able to calm her down. But she sulked about the vodka and ordered a non-alcoholic virgin mojito instead. She was clearly up for a drink, but wasn’t prepared to compromise on her vodka choice.”

Maybe she should’ve pulled a Clooney and carried a flask?

World Chefs: Madonna's macrobiotic cook home in Japan

TOKYO (Reuters Life!) – After working for seven years as Madonna's macrobiotic cook, Mayumi Nishimura feels she's back in Japan to help change the way her native country eats.

Although Japan's traditional diet is extremely healthy, an increasingly Westernized diet and the incursion of overseas fast food chains have made weight issues, and diseases such as diabetes, much more common than before.

Nishimura, who spent about 25 years in the United States aside from her time -- mainly in London -- with Madonna, has written a book, "Mayumi's Kitchen," with menus that blend her Japanese background, her macrobiotic training in the United States, and her experience working for Madonna.

When Madonna's current cook goes on vacation, Nishimura goes back to work for the pop star, who wrote an introduction to Nishimura's book. :bio:

Q: How did your Japanese background help you develop as a macrobiotic cook?

A: "I was born on a small island, fish was abundant and it was free, and vegetables were free. When I look back now, if I just changed white rice to brown rice and ate other whole grains, and instead of eating so much fish to eat just occasional fish and more vegetables, I was already pretty close to macrobiotic. Plus I had already known sea vegetables, all those basic ingredients. That helped a lot.

"I learned a lot from the different foods in the United States. Whole oats, cooking whole oats, was a big challenge for me. Also all sorts of beans I hadn't seen before, such as chickpeas, green lentils. Finding all those whole grains was new, learning how to use them, to combine them with Japanese kinds of seasonings. That's not saying that everything tasted good. I tried a lot and I failed a lot. But because of that I became a better cook."

Q: What's your macrobiotic philosophy?

A: "When I was cooking for people who don't have any big health issues but have a creative, active life, I started to use a little more fish. They needed energy that you can push out faster. Like when you're an athlete, you can't wait until the energy kicks in when you go out running, say, or when you go on the stage. You need energy that's fast.

"The tastes were a little stronger -- salt, oil and herbs and spices I wasn't using in the healing diet. I had to learn to use cumin, basil, oregano and all those other things that I'd never used in my cooking. Using those animal proteins and spices actually made a good balance. Those challenges were interesting."

Q: You became more inventive after working for Madonna?

A: "The one part I was weak on was sweets. As a traditional culture we didn't eat that many sweets. In Japan, there are four seasons and there are a lot of different fruits, so desserts could be just a piece of fruit. Then I had to teach myself how to bake cakes and pies. I was starting to do that little by little for my kids when they were small. Kids are kids, it was easy for me to trick them. But when this became my career, I couldn't be faking it every time. I learned how to bake by doing it. Thankfully Madonna just let me do what I know."

Q: Do you cook to match the place where you are?

A: "I think you always need to listen to your body and how it reacts to changes. In the summer I eat more raw food, but when it starts to turn to fall and winter I love to make cooked food. That's all part of the balance you're trying to make.

"Macrobiotic isn't just believing it but doing it, feeling it -- where you are, your health and everything. That's the key point. We are not seeing food as good or bad, we are just seeing food as energy and asking do I want that energy today. So then some people say can I eat meat then? So then I say okay, if you love meat, go ahead. But how much do you need that meat?"

Q: Will Japan's current longevity continue?

A: "If they don't change their diet, no. I thought people were eating pretty well, but when you come back here you see that's not true. They're not eating whole grains, they're eating much more bread. So many Japanese girls are so skinny, but also there are people who are very big as well. Both of them don't look healthy to me. When I'm walking I'd say that one out of four people I see on the street have eczema.

"The food quality has really been declining. It looks like rice, it looks like all those macrobiotic dishes, but the ingredients, how they make it -- lots of sugar and coloring. Soy sauce isn't traditional soy sauce -- miso as well, so many chemicals in it. That's scary. It's not food anymore. I thought if I tried to talk about macrobiotics and get more attention for this food, that would be a good thing for me to work on."

I question that. I doubt Madonna is literate, outside of knowing how to write the words "sex" and the "F" word.

Madonna Hires Rihanna for Coconut Water Ad Campaign

Madonna, Rihanna Team Up for Coconut Water Campaign

Madonna and Rihanna are the latest superstar divas to team up for a new project -- but instead of working together on a new single or remix, the pair has joined forces to sell coconut water.
The Vita Coco brand of coconut water, of which Madonna is an investor, will feature the Barbados-born Rihanna in its national advertising campaign launching this summer.
"Rihanna is a natural fit for the Vita Coco brand and I'm so happy to have her on the team," says Madonna in a statement. Rihanna adds, "I love Vita Coco! It's real coconut water from hand-picked coconuts. It's delicious and so good for you!"
Rihanna recently paired with another pop star, Britney Spears, for the remix to her hit single "S&M," while the music video to "California King Bed" premiered on Monday (May 9). Meanwhile, Madonna is completing work on the feature-length film "W.E.," which she directed, due out later this year.

Didn't she demonstrate how to perform oral sex by using a Coca Cola bottle as a stand-in in the Truth or Dare movie? If so, this is gross.

Diet Coke Unveils Madonna-Inspired Bottle
  • diet Coke has unveiled a new line of fashionable bottles, one of which draws inspiration from Madonna's infamous cone bra ensemble.

Famed French designer John Paul Gaultier -- the man who created Madge's iconic 1990 outfit -- was recently appointed the creative director of Diet Coke. His first order of business was to create the new bottles, showing off not only the Queen of Pop's signature look, but his own: white and blue stripes.

The cream-colored Madonna bottle, which has no official tie to the singer, is painted with a fishnet corset and, of course, cone bra.

Coke has long been a partner to fashion, having worked with Karl Lagerfeld and Dolce and Gabbana in the past, but now the cola brand is taking it a step further, mixing music history and style into one campaign.

Unfortunately for American Madonna fans, the John Paul Gaultier bottles are for a European campaign, and therefore won't be available in the U.S. Watch a TV spot for the new Coke campaign below:

This was cross posted to the "Bizarre" thread

So..... they want to torment their customers, and make them throw up their lunchese? It's bad enough when you have to listen to Madonna tunes piped in over a mall's speaker system, but stuck on an air plane?

British Airways Enlists Madonna to Sweeten Your In-Flight Meal
  • Based on the findings that British food is best enjoyed while listening to British music, the airline's main course will be paired with "A Sky Full of Stars" by the British band Coldplay.

Listening to the high tones in Madonna's "Ray of Light" is expected to boost the sweet flavors in the rich pudding dessert.

Travelers will end their in-flight meal with a cup of coffee while being serenaded by Plácido Domingo, since the tenor's low notes are well suited for the bitterness of coffee. Other artists featured in the Sonic Bite playlist include Louis Armstrong, Lily Allen, and James Blunt.

"The sonic seasoning research is fascinating, and our pairings should really help bring out the flavors," British Airways menu designer and chef Mark Tazziole said in a statement.
