Madonna was dressed like some wannabe cheerleader. I can't believe Madonna fans defend everything she does even if it fails. I once had an Oldonna fan arguing with me and trying to prove that the "American Flop" album was "too smart for the general public."

"Too smart for the general public"? Wow! Now everbody's a dumbass for not liking that crap? And it's funny you should mention the cheerleader outfit, because one fan commented on that page:

Madonna did NOT perform in a cheerleader outfit...she was surrounded by cheerleaders and marching-bands....yes she had pom-poms...but that was it...FACTS PLEASE...

My motives were not, "Oh gee whiz, I love Madonna. I must watch her because I like everything she does!" So maybe the motives of the viewers should be considered.

Agreed, but people did admit that they only watched her performance because they wanted to see the game, or they took a bathroom break during it. So not everybody who watched it liked it. Numbers don't mean jack. Hell, some people even said her performance sucked and Cee Lo Green and the choir did better than her. And now her goons are talking sh*t about Beyonce. But to be fair, if this was Gaga who performed at the Superbowl instead, they'd be even more rabid.

And people should realize that the Superbowl is not about the performers who sing at halftime or whatever, it's about football. I swear I'm getting tired of seeing more coverage about the people who performed at the Superbowl than about the game itself! I don't know what teams played this year, or who even won, but I know who performed.

There is a poll on this page about her singing, if you think it sucks or not:

Billy Joel: I May Be Crazy... But Madonna Can't Sing

The results so far:
  • Her singing sucks

    Yes 88%
    No 12%

    Total Votes: 23,334 *Poll Results

Thanks, Flea!

Billy hasn't always been a favorite person of mine, but I'm thrilled he's standing up to the plate. Just hope he won't be forced to backpedal ...

Fiona Apple is currently beating Madonna in this poll for anyone here who would like to vote for Apple

At the time of this writing the poll results stand at:

Criminal (Fiona Apple) is at 73.9%

Vogue (Madonna) is at 26%

Fiona Apple, ‘Criminal’ vs. Madonna, ‘Vogue’—Greatest Pop Video of the Modern Era [Final Round]

It all comes down to this:
our final round in PopCrush’s search for the Greatest Pop Video of the Modern Era, 90s edition! The angsty Fiona Apple and the iconic Madonna have battled their way to the top—all thanks to your votes—and now it’s time for you to cast your final votes to help us crown a winner!

Fionna Apple’s “Criminal” remains the singer-songwriter’s biggest hit to date, having peaked at #21 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and #4 on its Modern Rock Chart.

It also won her a Grammy for “Best Female Rock Vocal Performance,” an MTV Video Music Award, as well as a VH1 Fashion Award.

And rightfully so: the track and the video both place female sexuality at the forefront, allowing Apple to describe the backlash against women who don’t shy away from being a “bad, bad girl” now and again.

Now Fiona's video has 78,48%. I voted for her before I watched the clip. I know I shouldn't do it, but video compilation of Horst P. Horst photos with Bryan Ferry's "Slave to love" rip off is definitely far from 'great'.
