:wth: Madonna cries every time she watches 'It's A Wonderful Life'
Quote:

Madonna has revealed that she loved 'It's A Wonderful Life' so much that she wished actor James Stewart was her real father while growing up.

The pop diva admitted that she always makes time to watch the Christmas-themed classic during the holidays, and it always takes her back to her childhood.

"I love the message of it; I think it's so beautiful," Contactmusic quoted her as saying.

"I grew up wishing that Jimmy Stewart was my father.

"The story of wanting it all and having it all and then losing it all and then realising what's important, it's like Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz - 'There's no place like home'.

"It's kind of corny and cliche but, to me, it's a classic story that stands the test of time.

"I love it. I cry every time I see it," she added.

Wouldn't that be kinda cruel to grow up wishing that someone else was your parent? Especially when your parent isn't all that bad. Secondly, didn't she used to complain about her childhood why would she watch something that "takes her back"?

Yeah, she just loves to compare her self to classical stars, doesn't she? And I don't think she knows what's important, as evident by the fact that she dates guys young enough to be her children, and she dresses and acts age inappropriately in front of her teenage daughter.

I don't see any condoms hanging from it. Can't be a Madonna tree or else it would be advertised as a f**king tree for f***ing store windows and stuff...
i DO love the heavily airbrushed pic of her on the page. Kind of symbolic. I'm not sure about the greetings from her up top either. Anyone can post a photo of a signature, and she'd never go out of her way for a fan, unless this is a shill site.

...OK OK I know it's not very nice and I don't wish death even on m....but...let us for a moment imagine a world in which madonna never existed...kind of a reverse take on the Capra Christmas Classic if you will...

...11 pre-born babies would never have been conceived to a womb from which they would be ripped asunder before given a chance at life...

...millions of impressionable females of all ages may have followed their hearts and consciences rather than taking a cue from this arrogant, self-serving, narcissist...(good God only knows how many pre-born babies were destroyed as a result of their mothers following madonna's example)...

...the pointy bra would have happily remained in the obscure realms of pervert niche....

...Cinema screens everywhere could breathe a sigh of relief at never having been exposed to the likes of 'Shanghai Surprise', 'Body of Evidence', 'Swept Away', 'W.E.'...etc...etc......etcetera....

...From 1985 forward, the music industry might have focused on actual musical ability when recruiting, developing, and marketing female talent instead of shifting their focus to garish blow-up-sex-doll skankitude...

...lyrics like 'I drive my Mini-cooper/I'm feeling super-dooper/they tell me I'm a trooper/and you know I'm satisfied' would have likely never been uttered, sung, spoken, or rapped...let alone conceived....by any living thing in this universe...

...now it's your turn...add your own particular take on what a wonderful world this would be without m...if you're feeling a little squeamish just remember...the b***h started it...

Oceanlover998 I love you so much right now!

Let's see. Bimbos like Katy Perry and possibly Britney might not be here. So Britney's public meltdown would never have happened.

Uhh...what else?

OH! Other stars with actual talent might've been more popular and gotten more media attention, like Cyndi Lauper, Janet Jackson, Debbie Harry etc.

But the downside of her not existing would be that this site wouldn't exist.

I can't really think of anything else.

Gaga might exits but we wouldn't hear comparisions.
We would have been spared the Sex book.
Teen girls wouldn't be proud to act/dress like whores. They learned THAT from their moms who worshipped madonna.
Writers, artists, designers and others would have "proper credit" for their creativity instead of someone stealing and taking the awards.
We wouldn't have had to put up with her and Poison Penn's constant fights in the news, or their breakup/back together/breakup cycle for publicity.
Jesus Luz would have been another fly by night gigolo model.
We wouldn't have had to suffer through reruns of that horrible flabby loser guy who slinked and sang Like A Virgin on American Idol.
Then again, Photoshop and airbrushing techniques may not be as advanced.

If she had never made it famous, my ears would not have bled having to hear off key warbling of "American Life" and other tunes.

I would not have had to listen to social pundits, feminists, and every day people tell me (or state in magazines or blogs) for the past 20+ years that I should emulate Madonna (that is, use people, be arrogant, sleep around, be vulgar, steal other people's fashion ideas...)

And I can live without the "So- and- so is the New Madonna" or "So- and- so is copying off Madonna" stuff someone spouts off every five minutes these days.

...those are all great...just thought of another one...without m we would have been spared the cinematic tripe that was 'Truth or Dare' but then would have missed out on the brilliant masterpiece 'Medusa: Dare to be Truthful'...

 Yeah we'd see what celebs really look like.

We'd be spared seeing her :manly: :mummy: :granny: looking form all over the place. It's messed up how she looks like and old, bodybuilding mummy. Never really thought I'd see those things together ^o) .

We wouldn't have to hear all the crap about how she's supposedly pushing limits or how she "looks great for her age."

There might not be as many STD's running around which she no doubt helped spread with her "Screw who you want, when you want, and don't worry about the consequences." creed. :slut!: :crab2: :nurse:

...at this glorious time of year in particular we should each and all give thanks that we are not one of m's children...

...may the good God have mercy on each one of the children she has brought into this world or adopted and one day grant them each the ability and choice to GET OUT...

...Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to Flea and everyone on the Board...Felices Navidad and many blessings in 2013!!!...

Some people are saying in the comments they think a prankster put the wreath up and that it's not really Madonna's.

Madonna's Only Christmas Decoration is a Wreath That Says "DAT ASS"
  • It has not been the most splendid holiday season for Madonna, who had an entire album's worth of new songs leak last week. Nonetheless, she appears to still be in the Christmas spirit. Above you see the lone Christmas decoration outside her mansion on 81st Street in Manhattan: a wreath with dangling chrome letters spelling out the phrase "DAT ASS."

Below you can see a wide angle shot, sent along with the close-up by a tipster, showing the wreath against a gate that guards her $32 million compound:

Ugh. Remember when she couldn't shut up about yoga and kabbalah and wanted to be called Esther?
I think that was the grown up Madonna that could have been - some kind of batty, New Age-y, Earth mother type. It was embarrassing, but she could have grown into that pretty well. Looks like something (divorce?) has pushed her into full-on midlife crisis age denial though. Guess she'll be buying a Harley any day now.

god, this woman just needs to accept that her time is over, and bow out with grace. this sh-t is embarrassing.

Even if this is a hoax, the reason it's believable is a result of her recent, desperate actions.

I can just picture her furtively browsing urban dictionary to make sure she's using "thot" and "on fleek" correctly for her next sad-ass Instagram post.

So defiant? How sad. Maybe she hired the pranksters.

Does her disdain of Christmas have any thing to do with her mother dying in Dec. 1963? Or is it all about the holiday being unsexy for her? Wonder how last year's hookup with Sean turned out ...

And fans wonder why people call her Olddonna and Grandmadonna... this is why. Grandma needs to understand she's 56, not 16.

Madonna's son forced to spend Christmas with her
  • A judge has ordered Madonna's teenage son, Rocco, to spend Christmas in New York with her after he refused.

Rocco, 15, was meant to board a plane to New York from London, where he is currently staying with his father, filmmaker Guy Ritchie.

He missed the flight and told his 57-year-old mother that he was sick of touring and wanted to stay in London with his father, the court heard on Wednesday.

"He has expressed very clearly that he does not want to return to New York," Ritchie's lawyer Eric Buckley told the judge, according to Page Six

So much for her & Guy calling a truce. Madge must be disappointed Rocco wants to be a real man like his father. Couldn't she just focus on spoiling David & Mercy instead? I still hope Lola will be okay ...
