As per league vote, it was decided to add 2 additional NA spots (3 total) for the 2016 season, and 1 additional (4 total) for the 2017 season. UPDATE: League vote concluding on 2/26 has determined that 1 additional NA spot will be added each year up until we reach 8 total NA spots.

2017 - 4
2018 - 5
2019 - 6
2020 - 7

DL Roster Adjustments
To take full advantage of the use of DL spots before the season, we have established the following set of guidelines.
Team rosters as they are going into Opening Day will be final with the below exceptions:
- Player on your active roster is moved to the DL on Opening Day - you may move him to a DL spot and request to add a player that was cut from your roster.
- Player that you cut is moved to the DL on Opening Day - you may request to have this player added to your roster and placed on the DL.

No other roster roster additions/adjustments (outside of moving players to and from your bench spots) may be made on Opening Day.

End of Season Roster "Lock"
Rosters will "lock" on the last day of the regular season. The players on your roster at that point in time will be who will carry over to next season. However, if you make any moves during the playoffs, the players you drop will no longer be on your "locked" roster, and will instead be sent to the Draft Pool for next year. The players you acquire in those transactions will not remain on your team either. It is up to you to determine if sacrificing the player to try to win a championship is worth it.

Players that are on your DL at the end of the season, if not dropped, will remain on your roster just as any player not on the DL. You must go into the regular season with 37 total players (up to 30 active players and the option of 4 NA players and 3 DL players). DL/NA players are eligible for DL/NA slots in the roster before the season starts. These players WILL NOT count towards the 30 man roster.

DL Spots Increase
As the MLB made an adjustment to change the 15-day DL to the 10-day DL, we have seen over 5 weeks a large increase in the number of players being DL'd. Pitchers only missing 1 start can be put on the DL, and it is being used by MLB teams during less serious injuries so they can bring up players from the minors and maintain full active rosters. After co-commissioner discussion as well as feedback from several managers, we have decided to increase the number of DL spots from 3 to 5 effective immediately (5/9/2017).
