And then he explained all the forum details. I'll start off with the forum-related positions. Clan Leaders are the obvious leaders of both the clan and forums. There is me; I'm also the Forum Administrator, and TwoBecomeOneXIII, who doubles as our Community Manager! We're cool, you should like us. Then you have Watch Officers. Basically, they moderate every bit of the forum. Every. Sure, you could have a Watch Officer who's also ranked high in the clan. Or not. Community Moderators. Community Moderators watch over the off-topic forums with a just presence. They can lock and move threads, provide forum support, and generally are good people. They can be anyone! Crucible Moderators, on the other hand, tackle the PVP forums. It can get pretty brutal there. Members. You, more or less. You're a member. Yay! Then there are guests and validating, but you shouldn't worry about them. As for clan ranks, well. It's a tad more extensive. Meet our Raid Leaders, a two- or three-person group who lead their raid groups, I being one of them. They have full-control over the Raid Discussion forum, along with their PVE brethren. Don't be surprised if they don't really moderate anything. That's not their first job. However, Strike and Raid Moderators make their home among the strike and raid centers of the board. Being the lieutenants of their respective Raid Teams, they provide intelligence (per Raid Team rules) and keep those forums safe for all those seeking a refuge from the horrors of hard mode. Finally, we have our Raid Teams. Meet to the forefront searchers for Bob's legacy. Though not really a moderator in any sense, they have the distinction of their own fancy name color. In this clan, being in a Raid Team is a big deal for the simple fact of member count. Y'see, we are have 24 members per system, two raid teams per system. Yes, the main members will have a fancy name. Stand-in members can be given this same privilege, in certain situations. On topic, there can be more teams per system. There's a couple other ranks that will be undisclosed until it's necessary to reveal them, if at all. Certain forums require certain title beginnings. Raid Discussion is an example. If you're discussing strategies, whether strategies you came up with yourself or strategies you've heard/seen elsewhere, they must begin with [Strategy]. Otherwise, they will be locked. Don't worry. I'm lax. The Strike Discussion forums are the same way, as is Raid Team Discussion. Because I'm into the whole "it's your thing", many positions have their autonomy. As such, you can create your own little fireteams within the clan. If it becomes something in itself, well, I can't stop you. However, it's there for your uses. Something I need to stress is the Politics forum. I made it because I think this guild should not only be a way to expand a gaming universe, but a vector of thought as well. That being said, politics is nasty business. This forum will be monitored extensively, and any thread which seems to spiral off into hate or bigotry will be locked or deleted immediately. All this relies on you and anyone participating in that forum, and the moderators who oversee it. Be careful, the forum can easily be deleted. At any rate, the forum is small and quite bland. That will be change shortly - it'll look pretty and inviting, with more off-topic discussion forums and more Destiny-related forums. ...That seems to be all I can think about. Until next time! -pops Edited by pop-yo, Sep 15 2014, 03:25 PM.
