![]() Name: Campbell Malise "Chernobyl" Chancellor Age / Date of Birth: 21 / April 5th Height / Weight: 5'5" / 168 lbs Gender: F Species / Ethnicity: Human / Scottish-English Occupation: Corps Infantry Sergeant Myers-Briggs Type: ISFJ - Protector Hobbies: Weights, target practice, helping out around the base Likes: Shotguns, boots, rainy weather Dislikes: Being stationary for anything besides sleeping, social situations requiring finesse Biography: Coal Trench was, until recently, an in-between stop downwind of Bosky Station, en route to Fuego Del Rio. A recent desert sandstorm set in with a gruesome ferocity, damaging property and maddening the threat level, bringing an uncomfortable amount of combat into the safest regions of the Trench's mines and storm shelters. After a sweeping fire began decimating the mine, the outpost and coal had to be evacuated. For three years it was Cam's home, after reaching Corps' minimum age and fleeing Fuego del Rio for someplace more in need of those enlisting. Working was the majority of existence, there, defending the tunnels from a steady boapede threat and maintaining the safety of the base for miners and soldiers alike. Stray explosives collapsed a few caverns, rendered the fuel supplies being mined there useless and were the final nails in the coffin on the over-run coup started by the last onslaught of boapede brood. She was technically held over briefly in Coldpeak, but after her temperament analysis, shipped back down south to Bosky Station to be retrained for management of excessive aggressive behavior. The rest WOULD be history, were it not mostly in the making, still, of this forum. Edited by Kayzig, Oct 26 2013, 11:45 AM.

![]() Name: Nicodemus Thornswaggle VI Age / Date of Birth: 71 / September 27th Height / Weight: 5'9" / 167 lbs Gender: M Species / Ethnicity: Human / English roots, but has long been a part of an Americanized branch of his heritage. Occupation: Wizard / Brewer Myers-Briggs Type: INTP - Architect Hobbies: Wizarding, brewing, you know...the whole thing. Collecting weird ingredients. Talking to wildlife. You know. Likes: Butterscotch, scotch, butter, beer, poppy seed muffins Dislikes: Hooligans, bandits, skeptics, Biography: Nicodemus is the most-likely last-in-line of a...line of fairly powerful wizards. In his youth, he became so busy in building and building on his curiosity shop-slash-bed and breakfast, that he never had TOO MUCH time to socialize; most of it was with the travelers who would come and go through his quaint country inn. Nicodemus's Inn and Oddities always kept a sort of quirky novelty, but in the aftermath of I1, there's really been no interest in the out-of-the-way, quaint country inn, with a few overly desperate for a miracle and willing to turn to a strange source as the occasional exception. Mildly bitter over his inability to offer anything drastic in the respect of a world-repairing marvel, Nicodemus is at the very least complacent with his occasional spell-crafting, and thankful that the equipment he had from his hardcore potion-master phase is useful for another much-needed commodity in a world suddenly without mass factories and corporations; beer. He still also houses the occasional straggling passer-by, offering a helping hand where he can to civilization. Edited by Kayzig, Sep 9 2013, 02:10 PM.

Name: Oktyabrina Lizveth Erben Age / Date of Birth: 24 / March 21st Height / Weight: 5'7" / 138 lbs Gender: F Species / Ethnicity: Human / Slavic Occupation: Freelance biologist, mostly under disciplines of zoology and ecology. Myers-Briggs Type: INTJ - Mastermind Hobbies: Reading, dancing alone in her study Likes: Books, finding old essays, Bill Nye and Carl Sagan Dislikes: Complete silence, having to go a long time without washing her hair, her own handwriting Biography: The only daughter of a lower-class family in her home country of Russia, Okytabrina was very proud when she was hand-picked by faculty to go to a very exclusive school in Western Europe, the Cobalis Academy of Omni-Science. At least, that is the extent of her knowledge on the topic of her youth - largely spent in advanced classes in the sprawling campus, where the majority of her interests lay in biology, cryptozoology (by way of her interest in paleontology and curiosity of species undiscovered or not truly extinct), a few beginner's level (relative to the academy's levels) botany classes and extracurricular ballet. When I1 struck, she was freshly finished with her secondary levels of education and was interning on the lower levels of CAOS as a researcher, visiting an overseas location not fully revealed to her with the rest of her team to investigate a lead. They never made it to ground zero of their research's site, but by then everyone was experiencing the disaster first-hand. Since then, between basic survival, her knowledge has at least gotten her favor to stay as part of her team, continuing as a sort of researcher, who's occasionally sent out to do lesser tasks that have less general availability from specialists in the skill set; veterinarian work, general data entry in medical environments, nurse and physical care, etc. Though helping with cattle certainly had purpose, when she had the opportunity to be scouted for actual work in a lab researching again, she leapt at the chance, thankfully meeting the scout's major needs (experience in thawing a large, complete preserved specimen and successful dissection; she was on a team of CAOS that had examined a fair amount of giant-to-colossal squids). After the success in Bosky Station's project and the discovery of Bedrock, she was invited on temporary commission to work on a larger-scale project in Fuego del Rio. It ended badly, and she's now back in Bosky Station, a somewhat different person for better and for worse. Edited by Kayzig, Sep 9 2013, 02:15 PM.

![]() Name: Bedrock Grotto Age / Date of Birth: Biological and physical age of around 25 for his species (Birth year 1930) / October 26th Height / Weight: 7'0" / 417 lbs Gender: M Species / Ethnicity: Grotesque / French? Occupation: Mild mannered laboratory research subject by day, Year of the Dame bouncer by night Myers-Briggs Type: ESFP - Performer Hobbies: Asking lots of questions to the scientists in the lab, trying to help in the lab's warehouse and other departments that require a 'heavy', walks (around the admittedly limited areas he is allowed to tread outdoors) Likes: Shortbread and snake meat (not together - but they are his top foods!), stretching after a good sleep, baths Dislikes: Bullies, thinking too hard (doesn't mean he won't, but he does have trouble with it in spite of vast intelligence, for a reptillian), getting caught in cold areas Biography: Bedrock grew up with a major inferiority complex; he's a runt for his species, which might have been forgivable enough if he wasn't also born with an undesirably desaturated hide for his gender, and guaranteed a future with no further offspring. The position he occupied from when he was big enough to start working, in nineteen forty-four, was basically a slave labor bottom-rung in a caste system. The clan Rocky was a part of had a hand in assisting a few Freedom Fighters during the war in their region, and it piqued the interest of multiple researchers who had not come across his kind before. In nineteen forty-seven, a group of North American scientists asked for healthy, ideal subjects as volunteers from the Grotesque Clan, for study and research. Seeing no reason to give up parts of its healthy breeding population, Bedrock Grotto, five other undesirable males and ten females either considered severely plain (too desaturated and pale) or physically impaired for breeding (those simply too small to bear a great litter, as well as some who were sickly), were sent on their way to an isolated base in Quebec. They were told by the researches and staff that they'd been sent over here because they were outstandingly virile, stunning subjects; paragons of their kind. Making no corrections in spite of being perfectly aware of their day to day reality, they instead sought out a new truth to their beings overseas. Life as test subjects was living like royalty, in comparison to what was home. At least in the beginning. These are details that Bedrock can remember well enough. Most of the reports were done by Oktyabrina before her now-temporary departure to Fuego del Rio, and further investigations were not carried on by the colony's standing biology team. ![]() Name: Ignatius "Iggy" Kadin Rafi Age / Date of Birth: 31 / October 25th Height / Weight: 6'3" / 221 lbs Gender: M Species / Ethnicity: Human / mixed Arab ancestry Occupation: Infantry Captain, Bosky Station Squad 7 Myers-Briggs Type: ESFP - Performer Hobbies: Rarely observed when he thinks no one is watching, as best we can tell Rafi's hobbies include exercising in the base rec yard, walking around town talking to himself and climbing wall structures out of boredom to look at the surrounding swampland. Likes: dark humor, singing/whistling (when it isn't a patrol compromise), waking up early to get out of the base and get "real" coffee in-town, patrols on the edge of the city or crossroads Dislikes: cafeteria coffee (they burn it), Krautz, windows at night Biography: Ignatius began his actual career at a true outpost that was non-stop patrol to keep a re-fueling area for a major road that had occasional civilian and heavy Artillery traffic. It was a rare area where there was more engineers working on machinery and - as implied - artillery squads occupying the area, with infantry units only out-numbering the med staff. One winter, following a particularly high increase in mesoave populations in the road's region, a part of his face was bitten off shortly after his promotion to sergeant. The nature of the injury was more sensitive than their med corps could handle, and they transferred him to a more urban environment to get treatment and recover. At first, his rare combat-forward style had most assume he was actually rather valiant, and he earned a promotion to Lieutenant...whereupon he grew almost TOO sure of his tactics, to the point where a few captains he was cycled through instead labeled him as a renegade. Worrying that the more violent sides of his personality they were witnessing were symptoms of a kind of paranoia born of the incident in the relatively docile community he'd healed in, the officials sent him to Bosky for re-evaluation. Despite marked aggression and a questionable personality off-duty, he found himself promoted and anchored into Bosky's roster. Edited by Kayzig, Oct 17 2013, 10:46 PM.

![]() Name: Officer Lilith Gaines Age / Date of Birth: 24 / October 3rd Height / Weight: 5'8" / 143 lbs Gender: F Species / Ethnicity: Human / Caucasian Occupation: Infantry Officer, Former Boneyard Sniper Myers-Briggs Type: ISTP - Crafter Hobbies: Making her own makeup, reading/journal-keeping Likes: Quiet, exploring the markets, being outside Dislikes: Bright, over-exposed areas, solitude yet also mass congregations Biography: Spawned from a troubled childhood, a vortex of increasingly bad situations eventually landed her a long-term stay in a psychiatric ward. It was in an adjacent region to the penitentiary systems that comprised Boneyard. When recruiting passes were made, she was picked out by some of the officials from the colony and drafted for infantry. Female soldiers were treated a bit more like trophies and property in the colony, a scandal that has lead to it being made out as defunct by other authorities. Lilith was obsessed with being more valuable as a sniper than as a pet, and will violently defend her independence from male assistance or company, even if she does acknowledge their authority on a Corps level. Boneyard had no reason to keep any files or reports on any incidents as it would have caused evidence for the incrimination of the colony's brass, so knowledge of Lilith's psychological profile is technically just an unknown element. She was chosen for Bosky to be retrained from the point of view of giving her more general training as an overall soldier, not just a specialized sniper. Edited by Kayzig, Oct 22 2013, 08:55 AM.

![]() Name: Monroe Emanita Winters Age / Date of Birth: 23 / June 10th Height / Weight: 5'5" / 143 lbs Gender: F Species / Ethnicity: Human / a mix-bag of Polynesian/Latina/Caucasian Occupation: Custodian at Coldpeak Facility Myers-Briggs Type: ESFJ - Provider Hobbies: Loved to hike in the woods, has settled for being a mildly adept member of a group of peer civvies who do parkour-esque free-running around the massively walled-up urban sprawl of structures that makes up Coldpeak. There is, of course, a large animal housing area in her area, and she is incredibly fond of tending to them, whether it's a chore for work or her free time. Also less literally runs with groups of other young adults in the area for aimless partying after work. Likes: Helping to feed the horses, rabbits, rats and other stock and test animals, bright contrasted stripey clothes, climbing to the top-most areas of the facility to look at the woodsy areas just outside Dislikes: The incredibly claustrophobic nature of the base at times, occasionally having to take out massive portions of dead test animals in a garbage bag or ANY scenarios working in Worth's lab, being put on incinerator duty, . Biography: Raised mostly by her uncle as a YOUNG child, there was a drift between the technically-not-parent and a suddenly-rebellious teenage girl who wanted to dye her hair, dress radically, cut school, stay out all night with other kids and occasionally come home well into the AM on a school-night smelling somewhat smokey. The hair-dying never went away, but after disappointingly giving up on her, Roe's uncle was at least heartened to see her turn things around late into high school to finish things, and get ready to prepare for something in life. Then...well, I-1 was just a while after her graduation. Situated in Coldpeak from day one, it wasn't until the emergent threat of mesoaves and repotoads that double-time construction went up to put in a perimeter wall and gate, moving everyone in the area from the more isolated, woodsy areas of the forested mountain town to the growing hive of bricks and metal that was turning into the facility. People were more or less conscripted into working there, if they were old enough, and if wanted to stay. Monroe's uncle is slightly more estranged from her, now, in the engineering corps, and CONSISTENTLY busy with work on the base's extensive security and generator systems. However, her family name got something of a reputation-based trust bonus, and she inherited his old job as a custodian with a somewhat higher security clearance to work in the upper levels of the research facility. Monroe feels madly cooped up from time to time, but knows that for now, staying put with a fairly lux (if not overall dirty) job, position-wise, is more than a vast majority of non-corps will ever get. She even still knows a few people from her high school days that survived everything, and also work lower-level jobs around the facility, either as fellow janitors or as desk-work. The scientists don't treat her like complete garbage (mostly because they don't pay her much mind), the soldiers in the area are no-nonsense but very professional, and the buzz, lately, is that everyone's quite positive that their base will be the first to develop a lasting solution to the world's problems. It was nice to feel hopeful, at least. Edited by Kayzig, Sep 9 2013, 02:26 PM.

And in quarantine! Myers-Briggs Type: INTJ - Mastermind Hobbies: Pacing, brooding, talking amongst himselves Likes: The bits of social interaction with intelligent entities besides the ones in his cell, surprises Dislikes: The endless routine he's living, the food he's getting in quarantine (it SEEMS bland and he SENSES some part of himself is malnourished...) Biography: It's a bit difficult to want to try someone for their supposed crimes against civilization and Corps personnel when they offer boundless amounts of incriminating evidence against both the staff of Coldpeak AND the remnants of Fuego del Rio's guilty council members. And...even as desperate as times are, Doctor Kelly Gilroy has recently insisted that his present malady is a result of being mentally fused to a telepathic parasite identified as Sigmund, who burrowed into his brainstem and exercises majority control over their actions and decisions. Even if it's NOT true, he's certainly begun bugging out and qualifies more as a bargain-level mad man instead of a mad scientist. Previously: Spoiler: click to toggle

OTHER INFANTRY ![]() Name: Lieutenant Magdalena Hunt Age / Date of Birth: 29 / May 23rd Height / Weight: 6'1" / 182 lbs Gender: F Species / Ethnicity: Human / Greek Occupation: Infantry Lieutenant, former Innscove Squad 4, now Bosky Station Squad 7 Hobbies: Exercise, gardening Likes: Pets/domestic animals, keeping actively busy while on-shift, fair weather (HAHAHA WELCOME TO BOSKY) Dislikes: Irresponsibility, glib talkers, show-offs Biography: Magdalena is just one of many, who didn't have much of a real career to cobble back together after I-1 and truthfully, didn't want to. She enlisted with infantry and was eventually transferred to the foggy, coastal outpost of Innscove, the more beachy home-area she'd resided in steadily becoming evacuated due to worm infestation. The fog and water had made the colony a bit of an attraction to skinners and shredders, but it was rather hard to just abandon Innscove as a production line and cannery, and the more militant dedication of the Corps present there forced it to work. Their engineering squad had developed some rather advanced measures for added turrets and defenses. Unfortunately, they didn't have much in the way to prepare for the developed threat from Fuego del Rio. A part of the last stand once the engineers scrambled together a Pyro squad to clear out the worst of the omniphage, it mostly just burned through fuel and a portion of their rapidly-multiplying numbers. Two members of Squad 4 and half of Squad 9 was all that was left of Infantry for Innscove once the evacuation arrived, but they'd at least managed to pull everything together to get out plenty of civvies, and a few palettes of supplies before the colony was defunct.
