Suspect pulled out gun from musical instrument case.... Two children have been airlifted to a Lubbock hospital after a school shooting at Berrendo Middle School in Roswell Tuesday. Police have a suspect in custody. A 14-year-old boy and a 13-year-old girl were both serious injured in the shooting. Both students were airlifted to UMC Health System in Lubbock, Texas, according to a hospital spokesperson. As of 12:45 p.m., the boy remains in critical condition and the girl has been updated to serious condition, according to the hospital. Gabriel Tortillo, a 7th grade student at Berrendo, said he saw a male student carrying a gun. He said that student shot a boy in the face near his eye. Another student who witnessed the shooting said a male student shot the boy twice in the face and shot the girl in the arm. Eighth grader Odiee Carranza said she was walking to the school gym when a boy bumped into her as he rushed past. She told him to be careful, and he apologized and continued on. He ran to the gym, where he pulled a gun out of a band instrument case and fired at the students. “Then he shot up in the sky, then dropped the gun, and then some teacher grabbed the kid that had the gun,” Carranza said. Maybe the odd one of these cases is actually true (the lone nut murdering people), but I think most are set-ups. Psychopaths programming psychopaths to kill our children to further their agenda...which is, among other things, to disarm the public so there will be no resistance when they to kill us all. Anyway, home school your kids, folks. They'll live longer and might reach their 20s with their souls in tact. Edited by Gornok, Jan 15 2014, 05:19 AM.

Just heard the shooter was 12 years old. I wonder if he was on any mind altering drugs like Ritalin? |

Obviously, we need to ban musical instruments, at least the cases. |

Hehe, yep. That would be sort of like an "Ouch, hey quit it" kind of shooting. Never heard of a .22 shotgun though. I do have some old .22 shells in the cabinet that are kind of like little shotgun shells though. They were my brother's I think, but I've never fired them. They're very old, from the early 70s. I have no idea what they were used for. I also have a 20 gauge shotgun that I wouldn't want to be shot with though. |

You can still get .22 with #12 shot. We call it rat shot. Also use it to shoot sparrows and starlings if they are in the Purple Martin houses. Yes 410 guage is the smallest shotgun.

The .22 was my brother's rifle and I totally forgot it had two barrels, one a smooth bore. Makes sense that it's for small birds, the shells I have wouldn't be fit for much more. Seems like the range wouldn't be all that great either. |
