“He was found stiff, blue and cold,” the employee said, speaking to ABC News on condition of anonymity. “He died because [there’s] not enough staff to take care of the number of patients we see each day. We need more staff at Saint Barnabas.” Officials at the 461-bed facility said Verrier checked into the ER at 10 p.m. Sunday and was found dead at 6:40 the next morning. I am always amazed when I go to the emergency room at how crappy the service is. I imagine that it will only get worse as obamacare sets in. Seems like most ERs could really benefit from a few minimum wage workers. For that matter, they could probably recruit a few non insured patients to work as helpers for a week or two to actually pay for their visit! |

Make sure when you go to the emergency room that you somehow get blood leaking out of you. If the ER folks see blood, then they react pretty quickly. Or feign a heart attack. Remember that the more severe the emergency is, the greater the response the ER workers will be. If you go in with flu symptoms, then expect to wait a few hours. Bring your sundial so you can see how long it take to get admitted. |
