Is Horsely GWS prelisted?

I would be very keen to get him.
Surely they would want him, otherwise he would cost us pick 23?

Mmmmmm also surely Koby would be as good as gone if we pick up Horsly.
So he is prelisted?

Why do you say that re:Koby? Is it because of Horsely also being an inside mid?
Yes.

I just wonder who would be more ready to go come round 1 or early in the season if there was a spot available.

If both are competing for spots with Horsly taking games, then would it be surprising if we lost a player like Stevens.

Not sure about Horsly being pre-listed, if he has ever nominated then we could trade for him as a pre-listed player. Surely GWS would pick him up though.

Man, every year we complain about the lack of pace and skill running through our midfield. Now that we've missed out on Hill (who fills this need), why should we target Horsely. Although Hill isn't a world beater, he is a low risk high reward option and could definitely add to the team.

All that Horesly will add is a bit of grunt (which we aint short of) and one less spot for our young mids. We'd deserve to lose a Stevens/Swift if we draft this guy.

Fair enough. Is Horsely capable of playing on a forward flank? He does have weapons. Personally I would hope we'd give the spot to Stevens/Swift initially and then if Horsely is commanding a spot, at least we would have the option. He is a very decent player.

From what I'd heard about Horsely though he does have pace and skill, even as an inside grunt. He certainly has a raking left boot.

You would hope Koby becomes a better player at AFL level then Horsly.

Also, how stupid are Fremantle?
Yep they ran a root with this one. :D (Y)

By fluffing around trying to rip the Lions off with compensation they put doubt in Clark's mind and opened the door just enough for Melbourne to make a pitch and win his services.

What a fantastic outcome. (Y)

If we don't get a crumber who can go through the middle I'm going to blow my top. Does anyone else think that's a big gap in our team?
Not really. They're cream on the top, they don't win you premierships. Usually the last piece of the jigsaw puzzle, if you will.

Are you still pissed? If so, I'm concerned, because I find myself agreeing with you, but I'm stone cold sober! :D :P

Actually think, maybe by blind luck, maybe by good management, that they may have dodged a bullet here. As Bond said, why would you make him your highest paid player? So their reasoning is absolutely correct, now Melbourne, who were financially strapped I thought? :( have the problem to deal with. Although, I think Clark is a good fit with Melbourne as well.

Collingwood and Essendon are very keen on Horsley but evidently GWS are going to pre list Horsley and keep him ie not trade him off .

Murray Newman is a mid / small forward we are keen on , we MIGHT get him at 45 but definately at 28

Varcoe, Christensen, Cyril, Krakouer, Blair and even Walters have all played big parts in finals in recent years. We're (basically) set for talls in the medium-term. We already have a number of mids playing well in the WAFL. But out of all the players on our list, only Broome is a true crumber - and he's three feet tall. Besides, if we're planning to challenge in the next few years, surely we'd be looking to recruit the cream now, so they're ready by the time our young mids enter their prime.
