Happy enough with the week. Hope we can snare a KPD and a speedster with our picks.

Port sure got a good deal for Ebert though.

So after trade week, it is as follows.

Out:
Brett Jones(retired)
Jarrad Oakley Nichols (delisted rookie)
Tim Houlihan (delisted rookie)

In:
Picks 22, 28, 45
Josh Hill

On the assumption that we will use the 3 picks, that means we likely have to delist a further 3 senior players unless we have some veterans up our sleeve(which I think we might).

Further Delistings: Dalziell is almost guarenteed.
Possible Delistings: C Wilson, Neates, Stevenson then at a stretch possibly Weedon or J Jones.

I think we have 1 Veteran, so that means another is due the year meaning we can pick up a single rookie and only be forced to delist Dalziell and one of Wilson/Neates/Stevenson to get our 3 picks this year.

On the assumption that we will use the 2 picks and a rookie upgrade, that means we likely have to delist a further 2 senior players unless we have some veterans up our sleeve(which I think we might).

Fixed it for you

To summarise:
Out: Ebert, Jones, two of Dalziell/Wilson/Neates/Stevenson
In: Hill, Hams, pick 23, pick 28.

Rookie list:
Out: Hams, Houlihan, Oakley-Nicholls
In: Three guys.

Upgrade Hams. Forgot about that.

Why did we haggle for pick 49 from Port then? Just to piss on it?

By the way, we had no vet listed players. We had 6 rookies so its impossible for us to have 6 rookies + 2 vetlisted as there is only 6 spots on a rookie list.

actually weve got 2 veteran listed players...if you have no vets you are allowed 8 players on the rooke list... 7 if you have 1 veteran etc...you are also allowed 1 listed international rookie

Glass and Embley were on the vets list. As Luke said, you can have 8 rookies/vets. Freo for example had one vet (Grover) and seven rookies (Sibosado, Lower, Pearce, Shepheard, Roberts, Bucovaz, Ruffles)

You're not going too well today!! :P

f we werent going to use pick 45 why not just trade that instead of haggling for pick 49 as well.

Wikipedia still shows at 6 rookies which is what I thought initially. When I thought it was 6 and wiki backed it up, why would I assume it was wrong?
