How many ND picks are we likely to use
We usually only use 3, but with selections 23, 28 then 60 something, what are the odds of us only using two
I'd say we'd only use two. In fact I already said it.

We could have traded 23 for 32 and 34, bettering Geelong who gave up 26 for those picks.

32 and 34 is almost certainly better than 23 and 67.

In other words, we'll definitely only use two.

I'd like a Ben Reid Clone, and an Allen Christensen clone please, both from WA.

The guy we get at pick 63 isn't likely to be any better than Stevenson or Neates.

We won't run the risk of going deep into the draft. But we might end up with a pick in the PSD.

True, I hadn't thought of that.

Though we've only tended to do that lately when we've axed someone after the draft for salary cap reasons - Stenglein, Hansen, Cousins. Don't think that's likely to happen to anyone this year.

And we'd have a pretty late pick in the PSD, it would effectively be giving us an early crack at the best kids left for the rookie draft pool but we'd have to put them on the senior list.

Thing is only a handful of clubs use PSD picks so the players they are after generally arent the same.

I think we'll pull the trigger early with 28 ala Weedon in 09.

Agreed, but I would add that the one way I reckon it could happen is if Q decides he wants to pursue the NFL and therefore doesn't re-sign, but rather resigns. However, I could once again be incorrect and find out he has already signed on. :O :)

For whom, do you think though EH? Newman.

Remember, every kid the Eagles are strongly linked with never end up here.
