The basic rumor going around is that Stevens has been approached by Carlton (not gws or he would already have signed) and if they follow up their initial interest with a concrete bit there is a chance a deal may be worked out, otherwise he signs on with us again.

There is no real secret that a lot of players this season have complained about the lack of midfield time. Stevens, Ebert, Swift, Masten all pretty much stated "I need more midfield time or I'm going to look elsewhere". I would expect 2 of the 4 I named to leave and the other 2 staying on knowing that with two of their closest rivals gone, they will get more game time.
I think a bit of jealousy is involved with Gaff. He has just come in and gone straight past all of them.
All those four play a lot more inside than Gaff, that is the problem. We have to many ball winners and not enough to provide run and carry.

With Ebert going it opens up a spot for Stevens, hopefully he sticks around.
Also highlights the fact that coming into 20 teams that a best 22 no longer exists but rather a best 30 etc. It also highlights the need for a seasonal rotational system, finding good combinations not just 6 players playing to a particular position on game day.

Players that are arrogant enough to think they are entitled to full game time every year and are failing to understand the common direction that the AFL is heading in, which could ultimately cost them a spot on the list (not just ours).

Patience, Heard Work, Loyalty. Important AFL virtues.

If it isn't Garlett we get, I would be happy for a first rounder. Gives us options elsewhere.

Lol fair to say that if Carlton get Goodard, Carlton would be really close to favourites in 2012.

LMFAO, nice troll. Love your sense of humour.

You can change a number in the URL and make any player look like he is playing for a particular club.

Example: They traded out Juddy for Raph ClarkeRaph Clark, idiots..
