Tough year to look at potential in draftees given how quickly it is going to thin out before our first pick. If we manage to get three picks in between 23-45 I suppose we could look at Brad Hill (brother of Stephen), Shane Nelson (if he slips), Murray Newman if we're looking for a quick midfielder/half forward type that can play an outside role. All are WA boys which I think we may lean towards after the first round.

If we need a tall then Fraser McIness looks like he could potentially be developed at either end of the ground.

Was on 10 news - Adelaide. To be honest though 10 news has as much credibility as Sports News First.

We would not want to part with Lycett unless it was an absolutely sensational deal. He is contracted at least then we won't get screwed over by Adelaide unlike the spanking Port will give us with Ebert.

If Lycett goes through I would hope it involves their pick 10 and the Phil Davis compo pick as a bare minimum. May be a three way swap, Clark, Tippet and Lycett though, would make sense.

I'm unfamiliar what the general consensus is like in Perth but on the way home from work this afternoon they're making it seem as if Stevens is as good as gone.

Blues aren't even the frontliners according to the guy on the radio, it was the pies. Not sure who it was, was on Nova.

Would be incredibly disappointing to see both Stevens and Ebert lost. Tom Swift better reach his damn potential.
