I don't think so. Collingwood traded their first rounder.

If Koby goes to Collingwood it must be for Wellingham, nothing less. At least Wellingham is a B grade midfielder.

Either way there is a 95% chance that all the Koby, Lycett, Swift and Sheppard talk is nothing more than pure rubbish.

It is amusing how many rumours have been on here that are self-perpetuating but never reach any level of actualisation.

I entirely trust the list management at WCE. If anyone leaves I'm sure we will get decent value from them and if we do trade a player, I'm sure that we wont lose entirely.

They might seem like strange decisions right now, but I'm sure the reasonings behind them would fit.

Absolute genius. I have a lot more faith in the list management team making a wise and creative decision than any of the talk on this topic (myself included).

Not sure about this, we have a recent habit of letting players go for whatever we are able to get.

I hope I am just freaking out or being pessimistic, but I'm not confident, at all. Also interesting that we hardly hear about players being linked with our club.

How about. Stevens + Pick 28 (obtained from trading Ebert) to the Pies. Beams goes north to the Lions and we get Mitch Clark?

I just think that the club with our resources, ability and desire to get the best possible people in all positions greatly minimises potential screw ups. Add to that the fact we are historically successful and finished fourth.

As for our recent past. McKinley, Spanger and Staker trades have been around right.
